I agreed at the time but also said if he turned out to be a blue-chip like he has then it would be worth it. Aikman or Buck actually mentioned Dimitroff deserved credit for that trade before the game, which I hadn't heard anybody say before

Still too soon. Have to wait to see how their depth holds up after future drafts of having no top picks.

idk, I don't think it was enough picks to make that argument. the net (after swapping 1sts) was a 1st, 2nd, and 2 4ths, spread over two years. it's not like Ditka trading an entire draft

I agree. I thought it was a bit much at the time, but looking back it seems pretty damn smart.
