Cat Puking question

Hey everyone, trying to make a serious thread here so lets see how long it will last

First of all here is my cat

As you can see he has long fur.

Last Sunday so the 13th, my Cat puked twice during the night, I was kinda tired so wasn't able to see what he puked, so I cleaned the shit make sure he was ok then went back to sleep

Called my Vet last monday (the 14th) and Vet told me not to worry.

Week pass fine, cat is healty plays around and all that stuff

Today watch TV and hear my cat Cough really hard, so went to check on him and he puked this

Since Vet is closed, i go to my local pet store (lol) and show them this picture, and people are thorn. Some says that it is my cat turd, and other says that it's my cat Hairball.

Last week, i bought some special paste for my Cat for Hairballs problems. And it doesn'T seem to fix it.

Some people says it can be the food I give him

I brush my cat at least once per day. Also why i thnk it might be his shit is because I see him alot of time only his head his in litter box (so i suspect he might eat his shit) (if that's possible for a cat)

So in Resume my cat puked 2 straight sunday's what you see in the spoiler tag. In your opinion

1) Is is a turd or a hairball
2) I'm gonna go shave my cat for summer, and i plan to start shaving him twice per year now since he has so much long fur
3) Should I take him to the vet tomorrow, or just watch him closely?

P.S Asked the Water Bottle Sage, he has no answer for me

It's a hairball.
Don't shave your cat lol.

Cat's puke. Whether its hairballs, food, or vegetation they eat around the house or grass, they are going to puke. Hairballs are a bit rarer, I only see those once in a while for short spurts. Like 2 in a week, then not again for a while. If one gets outside, the first thing it does is eat grass so that it can puke later. They try to do it with plants too.

It shouldn't be anything to worry about, we have puke around our house all the time. It's just one of the perks of having a kitty.

I wanna shave him for the summer not just cuz of his Fur but last year he sweat alot even with AC it's really thick fur

Thanks wasn't sure he never puked before these 2 days

I'm just watching cuz my cousin cat died of hariball (the cat wasn't able to evacuate it)

I shave my cat just so I don't have to deal with him puking hairballs. I've had him for almost 3 years now and he's puked once from eating too much grass. Plus the other cat loves to chase his poofball tail around.

It's defiantly a hairball, my advice would be to give him some Vaseline, he will eat it and it will help him pass hairballs a bit better.

I wasn't expecting to shave him this winter, due to his black fur (would help him get warmer) since i don't heat alot during winter

But he sweat even in the winter so guess it will be shaving twice per year

Haha. That's exactly what I do to my cat. He seems indifferent but feels like velvet in a couple of weeks.
