Cats only sweat through their paws. You don't need to shave your cat. Puking is normal. I have a maine coon mix girl and she pukes 1-2 months and that is typical.
All this talk about pussy shaving should be put in the NSFW subforum.

Find out where the cat is going, cuz he ain't sweating lol
Have a leaky faucet in the house? That's usually the culprit![]()
No he just sleep on my bed all afternoon then there is what looks like sweat on his back (sometimes under him (but far from his penis) and on the bed
And i know that he's on the bed all afternoon im at home
Maybe he just sweat threw his paw then roll in this sleep or something i guess
It's definitely a hairball. I think there is over the counter stuff that will allow them to digest their hairballs. I've never used it though.
Probably just swallowed a string or something similar and caused a vomit comet. Or hairball. Also move away from grocery brand food if you can afford it.
can give him a spoonful of mineral oil to help with hairballs. They aren't really serious, just annoying to have to clean up.
Take it with a grain of salt, but I've read that cat food with cranberries in it helps with furballs (and it's also good for preventing UTIs). We feed our cats Natural Balance and they never have furballs, and their coats are insanely soft. The picture is definitely a furball though, and it's dark because of the color of the fur. Some cats just have lots of furballs, and you can get random pastes/jellies to help them out.
Brush your cat. I have 2 cats and one used to puke hairballs up frequently. I brush them ever few days to prevent hairball build up. They love it too
I second brushing. Hairballs are natural and you don't want to mess with it too much, but finding ways to minimize hairball buildup is preferable. Brushing is the best option. Shaving the cat is really only necessary when the fur is matted so much that it can't be brushed out. (I had a longhair cat we had to shave once in a while because she spent too much time outdoors and got mats no matter how much we brushed).
Are you sure your cat isn't wet from licking himself? My cats get pretty wet after they bathe themselves sometimes. As stated, cats don't sweat so the moisture has to be coming from somewhere else. If it doesn't smell like pee it's probably something he gets in or just from licking. The saliva sticks in the coat and can make it pretty wet. Or maybe just stop hitting him with a water bottle.
Definitely just a hairball. Nothing to worry about, but they are disgusting to clean up.
