To be fair there are alot of 80s-90s cartoons that are pure shit when you watch them as an adult.

One thing I give 80-90s unflinching credit for are the catchy opening themes.

I was hoping they would have shown the episode without censors.

So wait, they couldn't get away with bleeps, but they could get away with the decoder ring episode where DeeDee said Dextar club was for a bunch of was an IDCKS (used the decoder ring to come up with that "code")

Anyway, classic Dexter's Lab humor at its finest. Nothing beats original Cartoon Network shows in the 90's. Still, it was a bit tame compared to stuff they do put on tv:

Did they digitally restore the episode? I could have swore the series never looked that clean and consistent on the colour tones.

Episode made me sad at any rate. Was over before it even started.

Maybe it was due to viacom allowing it, different network etc, but that episode really wasn't allowed when there was an episode in spongebob with nothing but bleeps and patrick called them "sentence enhancers"? lol. Still an amazing episode and reminded me on how different cartoons are then and now. God i miss being a kid, no kids today will understand that era.

It was a different age when Dexter's Lab was on the air.

Has to be a network thing because Animaniacs was on 3 years before Dextars Lab and they got away with a ton of adult humor.
