his gripes about material gathering ring true from the first game as well. that shit is often well hidden and the details given are incredibly vague. i spent hours hunting some of those items. if you pay attention to everything (which is difficult due to sheer scope..) it isn't so bad. you'll remember where many things are if you jam it into your head that you found x in y location.

all in all though i didn't mind it. this game is going to be great. the worst reviews i've seen claim that it has too many cutscenes. and that's at best laughable as fuck to me. that isn't a bad thing at all in my eyes.

Really considering buying this game. Everything I've seen looks great and I've been hooked on GameXplain's videos and Nintendo's Xenoblade survival guides.
