I just met Tatsu and 5 seconds in I already want to punch him in the face.
I'm downloading the 10gb files right now. How are load times since they suggest a DL that's nearly 1/2 the size of the game
I have Disc + DLC Downloads, and I hardly wait to load anything, and I can see pop in's a long ways out.
Video of said comparison.
This world is just so damned big lol
Too true...haven't even scratched the surface, several hours in, or of the places I've even walked through. Their enemy level placement is pretty odd though; am I going to find lvl 1 stuff on other continents, like I see lvl 60 stuff, on the cities front door?

I had your stream on yesterday and would watch for a few minutes every once in a while, but just how big is Primordia? It's been a while since I played Chronicles, but when I think of just a huge wide open region, Gaur Plains is the one that comes to mind for me. Maybe you didn't cover as much ground as I assumed, but that place seemed neverending.
Protip: Shove Mining Probes in as many slots as possible to get a chain combo going. You can easily get a mineral income of 7k+ early on and use that to power level the AMs to get better gear. In particular Sakuraba group at rank 3 unlocks their heavy armor set which has good physical resist and really high defense. Full set of that makes a lot of encounters almost trivial. At rank 4 all of their merchandise gets an extra trait and upgrade slot which for the armor adds Max HP Up.
On boss fights, make sure you're using Concentrate Fire options, and pick off body segments. It will remove attacks, and make the fights much easier. It's generally good to do that, regardless of anything you're fighting, as you get more loot that way.
Also, don't forget to level your arts and equip your skills, and level them. You can also customize your parties arts, and make them focus on specific tasks. There's so much you can do, that the game doesn't show you, and it really opens up options.
Had to reroll my character. Just didn't like the way he looked. Didn't get very far anyway so w/e but I get a little OCD when it comes to these things.
Finally beat the bitch
Also something about miranium, once you have mining probes, is miranium gonna come alone or do I need to go gather them myself somewhere?
Comes in automagically, at regular intervals) as well as any money, from Research probes. You'll have a max you can carry, so either throw a storage probe, on a low production area, or use it to upgrade the weapon research developments, for better gear. Quests/missions can also require it.
In chapter 5 you can do a quest that unlocks the ability to re-customize your character whenever you want.
Also for anyone who has gotten this far, the max field skill is level 5 but you will be capped at level 4 until you do a Mission Board quest called "Off the Record". It requires solving a few riddles and requires Skell Flight so you won't be able to complete it for a while.
Game has to be running to get the income/minerals; some say you can't be idle, in game either, but I don't think that's accurate. I was playing Brave Frontier, and had spent 6k minerals, and less than 1.5 hours later, it was all back. I do have a couple of L2 probes, in about a 5-link up, so I'd go to the East Side and link up the ones around the quest that sends you out to plant three of them up in that same area.
