To be honest, the level 20 skell is garbage in combat. Use it for moving around quickly, don't use it for combat.

The level 20 was a godsend in the Chapter 6 boss.
The L30 Heavy Skell with G-Buster just wrecks everything in sight. I need to farm one more for my 4th PT member. I havent gotten any of these L30 Phoenix thingies to drop, which mobs in Sylvarium are they from again since it's either a shitty drop rate off of the Prone or I have been having garbage luck.
And when does fuel become an issue? Because with overdrive I'm always able to bring my fuel back to 100% if i time it well so I can use all my abilities while its up
Btw i've been farming intergalactic phoenix weapons for all my lvl 50 amdusias in the FN406 puges. Still haven't gotten an intergalactic g2 buster, but i really don't mind farming for the next few hours cuz i can play agdq on the big screen while farming. How low is this drop rate? I only got 1 phoenix so far. The puges at the Halal base or w/e in the southern tip of Sylvalum only drops lvl 30 skell gear. Anything else notable to farm?
When you get the ability to fly (after ch9 or 10). Flying drains fuel constantly, and you lose the ability to jump normally (jump permanently becomes jump-and-fly, unless I've missed something). That and flying obviously beats walking, either to avoid terrain or to avoid accidentally kicking tiny bugs that put you into combat; you wind up being airborne way too much.
Also as you continue, you'll find parts that use more fuel. The hard-hitters will commonly be 200 fuel, and the crazy shit is 1000+ fuel.
Why do people have a hard-on for phoenix weapons? My G2-Busters always have higher damage ratings than the phoenixes; what am I missing? Is it just because it's AOE? The G2 hits a front cone.
Phoenix is for farming purposes i guess. I've been trying to get G2 busters too.
The amdusia armor also boosts thermal damage, letting it do much more damage than expected.
The AoE on Phoenix is absurdly large. Way bigger than anything the G2 Buster can hit. Plus you can use the G2 Buster with it for maximum AoE potential since they use different slots. There really isn't any particularly outstanding weapon that shares the same slot as Phoenix and Phoenix itself isn't exactly a slouch on damage either.
That said, farming up level 30 weapons for Skells is kind of pointless considering you can essentially power level yourself to 60 with a single base 30 Heavy model (Amudias with E-Scythe). Then it's just a matter of saving up money for the 50 skell so you can farm parts for the Ares so you can farm parts for a custom 60 skell.
If you haven't yet, funnel all BP for Elma into Ghost Factory and all BP for Lin into Shield Wall. If you are allowed to use Irina or Gwin, do Alexa's Affinity quest to get the Ramjet Rifle and give it to either of them + max out their Last Stand ability. Elma will literally spam Ghost Factory and Lin can topple lock for a really long time. Bonus points if Gwin/Irina has Assault Hammer and Lin has a maxed Long Topple skill equipped.
It hits twice too, which generally puts it only about 10% shy of the same-class G-buster's damage. Being a 2-hitter might also increase your chances of getting the stagger effect, and if both hits proc stagger the effect might be even better? I often notice it says Stagger II before I Bind. Don't take my word on that, I don't really know how the debuff system works.
Is there any way to SORT ITEMS in the fucking sell menu? I hit 999 armors, so I went to sell some shit... I see that I can filter by slot, and there's clearly some sorting being done since all similar items are next to each other, but did they seriously not think to provide SORT BY LEVEL as an option?!
All debuffs can stack on top of each other which increases the effect level up to a maximum of V. It's not 100% but it's fairly high. As an example the G-Crusher for Skells hits 6 times and inflicts Physical Res Down I but like 80% of the time you'll end up with Phys Res Down III from the excess procs.
As far as the items go I was under the impression they auto sorted by Descending Level? That seemed to be the case in the equip menu at least but I never really looked at the sell menu.
I'm a duelist so I also have Assault Hammer). I think I have some BP for Elma, I know I have none left for Lin. My playstyle has been for me to soak up everything but it hasn't been going too well since Chapter 4.

Basically is XBCX everything(be mindful of the spoiler header jic).
Same spot as you're getting the G/G2 Busters from. F409 in Sylvania's bottom middle area. It's helpful to wear Treasure Sensor gear from Candid & Credible, so level that up, with your Miranium, and you'll see a lot of red weapon drops, along with better weapons and part drops. You only need a full set on your three party members to be at 90% cap, if you have L55 gear, so lower then that, and you'll need everyone to wear it to get as close to the 100% cap on it.
Once you get a Super Weapon, like the Detonator F, then it competes for Phoenix, but for quick pot-shot farming, it's a lot quicker to use Phoenix than G2 Buster.
Lol got a Phoenix and a gold G buster. Phoenix is just retarded for AoE farming. But it's pretty damn hype using that ability and then G2 and getting cockpit time proc after.
Finished farming, for the day, and only ended up getting the third True Cords armor finished, minus the helm, since it's kinda ugly. It takes way longer then I thought it would to finish up just one, and that's with about 2-3 minute Global Nemesis kills. I probably won't be able to complete it tomorrow, as I've work to do; dunno if I'll bash against the L35 one or not, as that's twice the work for the fourth one.
