On one hand, I feel like this would be all that fatty needs to start his war. But on the other, I still can't shake the thought that NK doesn't truly want a war, because then they inevitably lose grip on their people, and once NK citizens are made aware of what the real world is like, there's no putting that genie back in the bottle.

i'm not sure we're even capable of that, our long-range missile defense systems are pretty how do you say janky. they fail near as many tests as they pass and that's with a scripted trajectory and against missiles with a velocity far below a true ICBM's (though it's doubtful NK actually has one of those yet). we do fairly well intercepting low-velocity short-range missiles but beyond that our capabilities are, euphemistically, uncertain.
