I have been reading that he's not actually dead now, that rumors have been circulating because he's in hiding due to COVID-19 basically fucking North Korea into the last century and he doesn't want to get sick.

I feel like it's more likely he's dead. Just doesn't seem very him to silently disappear and not circulate some propaganda to prove he ain't dead.
