Sanity check: has Reprisal always worn off in 15 seconds when supertanking with Ochain? I don't remember it doing this before, and I was just soloing a Lair Reive where it would wear off ten seconds after I cast it.

Yeah supposed to have some sort of reflected dmg cap iirc. Just most the time you never hit it

I thought its duration was based on how many blocks it "forced." I swear it always used to stay up the full minute when tanking a dozen things. Maybe I'm just crazy.

Martel did some testing awhile back seems its about half your total hp. Also kinda depends on what you are blocking and such and how much dmg is getting thru

so, any idea where Midrium Ore comes from? i assume adoulin, but i've been lvling RUN for the past week so i've barely touched the new zones. didn't see any mining points anywhere.

the ores are starting to show up on the AH in pretty huge numbers(49 atm @.@ edit: in the time it took me to write this... 56) so they must not be THAT hard to obtain. but the price isn't dropping yet so i figure i'll do it myself.

Generally whatever ep is up that procs to jas at that time period. There are some which you'd avoid but that's mostly cause they are annoying mob types to begin with like say cactuars or mandies. As far as crowded I would say I usually feel rather crowded at more than 10 or ja proccers. So check their jobs too and possibly partys since if you duoing much better to do DCs and avoid the crowds.

Currently using byakko's for shijin. Attack uncapped, would usukane legs +1 be better? Not sure how much the 8 DEX would compare to the 8 STR/20 attack.

A few easy things that should help you manage MP (some of which may sound obvious, but I'm trying to cover all the bases):

1. Having the earth atma that you receive from Dragua on your tank. (Not necessary, but can be useful if Shell and Barstone are down, and a nuke successfully strikes.)
2. As the previous point implied, always ensuring that Shell and Barstone are up.
3. So you don't have to cure them, having the THF run out of range whenever they're not tagging it.

Also, are you on Bismarck?

no. abbatteur subligar/tenryu hakama+1/khepri kecks are the better ones.

I suppose switching a DD atma to that atma may help with mp magement, I'm just having trouble with it lately.
The other 2 points I've been following as well, so I guess I'll resort to point number 1!

Since we're on the topic of big scary dragons, any tips for dualboxing azdaja? I can MNK,NIN or THF+ WHM. Last I tried it many months ago it wiped the floor with me. I'll admit to being a little more than intimidated thinking about that trial...
