For these 3 dynamis zone Valkurm, Buburimu, Qufim:

What do solo bst kill in dynamis for farming after getting all the time extensions? (like what kinda mobs)
And how many people is considered "crowded" for these 3 zones?

In Valk the "best" path for a solo BST Probably is Hyppos > Goobue > Funguars.
If it's busy I do Trees > Puktraps > Sheeps.
Lots of walking but with no competition is still more currency than competing with too many people.

Hard to say what number is "right" for Valkurm, it depends on what the people inside are doing. For instance if they're all on EP mobs or if they're distributed between EPs, DCs and different camps.
I'd say over 20 people, more often than not, is gonna be quite crowded in there.

Looking at reactivating tonight or tomorrow. About how long does it take to complete a piece of salvage+1 gear on average? Already have the full usu set, so looking at making head and feet+1 a priority

Martel did some testing awhile back seems its about half your total hp. Also kinda depends on what you are blocking and such and how much dmg is getting thru

It doesn't matter how much DMG you take with reprisal up. Except indirectly, As a harder hitting mob gets more dmg reflected back. Since the cap is spikes dmg Dealt, it only matters how much spikes dmg you're doing.

For example, a wave of qutubs could wipe reprisal super fast, since they take x3 dmg. But on like, Aerns, you never manage to hit cap in 1 min.

This is something I still need to verify, but I think reprisal spikes dmg is calculated from the base dmg of a hit taken. As in before phalanx and possibly PDT. And certainly Stoneskin or you'd do no DMG at all with it up.

I've been fine as far as I can tell.

Sanity check: has Reprisal always worn off in 15 seconds when supertanking with Ochain? I don't remember it doing this before, and I was just soloing a Lair Reive where it would wear off ten seconds after I cast it.

The Spikes dmg dealt cap is MAX hp / 2 at the time of cast. So if you macro in extra HP gear (in slots you don't have Haste/Fastcast) you can raise your cap. I wouldn't wanna carry any extra HP+ gear over it, but it's worth using anything you already carry.

I am upgrading my Usu set so I can answer this. First off you have to have 2 other people to go with, people typically use this set up, 1 damage dealer (mnk, war, drk, sam ect), 1 thf, 1 sch. Usu+1 head and feet both take 40 Ritualistic Plans, the main zone for getting Ritualistic Plans is Bhaflau. You can get anywhere from 6-10 Ritualistic plans average is about 8, some NMs have the ability to drop 1 or 2 plans. 1 plan is 100% the 2nd one isn't but TH helps.

So your looking at at least 5 runs per piece to get the plans the other thing you need is the 45 pieces which is a random drop from bosses much like the 25s were in original salvage. Either you can get lucky and get it fast or unlucky and have it take forever to drop. There is 2 bosses per zone you get 1-2 drops from each so 2-4 total, but their loot tables hold like 15+ different pieces so its pretty random on getting the piece you want.

The way I did salvage 2 is we each take turns picking a zone we want to do and lot all the plans so every 3rd zone I would lot the plans, but if you have people to help you then you could finish much faster if you lotted the plans every time

Also, thoughts on Spharai vs Vereth? I know situational etc. but which is better for more situations?

Based on server prices, to finish my stage 3 knucks to 99: 120m
To take my 90 vereth to 99: 160-180m depending if I can get ppl to undercut/make a quick buck

Since we're on the topic of big scary dragons, any tips for dualboxing azdaja? I can MNK,NIN or THF+ WHM. Last I tried it many months ago it wiped the floor with me. I'll admit to being a little more than intimidated thinking about that trial...

they are equivalent weapons but as far as current content goes:

-spharai is better in Nyzul II, salvage II,... type of envents. The counter is especially awsome on early floors and bosses of salvage. And in nyzul-like events you cannot maintain AM1 on vereth.
-verethragna is better in VW (due to level correction and 300tp wings).

Generally speaking the higher the level correction (or the less attack buffs), verethragna is all the better. With 10+ level correction you wont see spharai winning unless you have, like, 2x bard cor, berserk, rcb... or something ridiculous. even then It would be hard to beat vereth.

I'll probably go with Spharai then. More likely to be sam on something like VW or vs mobs strong enough where I'd probably want the 2handed acc bonus anyways

no. abbatteur subligar/tenryu hakama+1/khepri kecks are the better ones.

I'm aiming for abbatteur, but 2 people in my set also has their eyes on it. That and not being able to spam it kind of puts it on the back burner for now. So I need an immediate option if it's better.

And there's no way I'm putting down a huge wad of gil on those latter 2 lol.

Honestly, it would cost just as much to get abbatteur. If you do urma pops without buying any KIs it works out to like 2 sets of legs per 6months on average... if you do buy the KIs then its like 24m per legs or something, so yeah, either way its a bitch :/

Tank it on the tail, keep Counterstance up to avoid the lame Endoom effect it has. I kept a brew on myself in case I died to Doom or if it managed to dispel all my cruor buffs. Keep your WHM outside the party to avoid the Spike Flails.

I find myself blood warping a lot for this very reason. Not like exp matters and it recaps pretty much instantly as soon as you do anything. Most of the time I was recapping from quest rewards.
