Is there a way to get Ap Radar to recognize what maps to use for the new zones? Running around Morimar/Hennetiel with no map kind of sucks.

update your apradar3, it should offer to download a map pack.

Anyone else having an issue launching PoL? On the first PoL screen where you select which account you want to log in I have a choice between one named "=" and one named "GUEST". I've tried launching with Windower 4 and with vanilla PoL and got the same problem on each. If I try to change the settings of either account I can enter a member name but the POL ID is greyed out.

Has anyone slept an Umbril with dark-based sleep? The message indicates they aren't inhuman, but I guess it might just be inhumanly resistant like sleeping a skeleton or some shit.

I think skeletons are outright immune... but I've slept other undead and imps before with ES it's just not easy as to your question I haven't tried but I'll make sure I'm /blm next time I'm running around to check

Cata drain worked on them. Drain I/II works on them. They also don't aggro blood.

haven't done reive yet on job with uncapped skills. can you skillup during a reive? (guessing no, but hey)

I remember it being suggested but never saw it confirmed anywhere. I've never had a killer proc on them when fighting them as DRK/SAM for what it's worth but that's not definitive.

I almost want to say they are amorphs. They look it and share similar properties with the Amorph family (i.e. PITA for melees but take increased magic damage).

Well extra magic dmg isn't really an amorph trait so much as a flan and a couple of slime nms traits. Guess we need to put some bsts on it though lol

Just try Arcane crest or the Demon killer ability, if neither of those work it's almost certainly amorph or a new type of monster.

Anyone got some anecdotes regarding which of the two categories is more valid? Need to skill-up my GEO which is going painfully slow, so I figured I'd add some skill-up food into the mix, but then noticed the JP-wiki addition. I should really just get the skillup earring from Gustav.....

Arcane Crest definitely didn't work. I tried that when fighting them after they aggroed magic.

I've fought a few of them and never intimidated one. They do take double damage from Holy, Enlight, and Atonement though.

Edit: We got double Herja's Fork before the expansion hit, so it's possible.

Double edit: Yes, you can skill up during Reives. I capped Sword in one yesterday.
