They can't be augmented at all. You can only augment weapons from skirmish afaik.

Currently my jobs at 99 are, in order of gear quality:

MNK
NIN
BLU
BST

Given these 4 Abyssea jobs, and given that I do not have any R/E/M weapons, and won't be getting any other than either a Kannagi or Almace (only one), which job is worth taking further in gear for current and future non-abyssea content?

Current TP Sets for each job:

BST: We can ignore this I just use it to farm Dyna mostly..will upgrade it when not busy with other jobs.

Also, would it be prudent, given the information stated, to level up a different job? Speaking about NNI/Salv2/SoA Content only.

As much as I know BGers are all R/E/M or bust..I just don't have the patience, especially for a job like MNK, to get one of those. I am not very good at making money even with Dynamis farming, which I don't do every single day as is. My goal is to get the AH workable weapons until I can possibly get something better from SoA content, or, as stated, possibly leveling up a different job than I currently have.

Coalition Weapons are not augmentable.

Is Sobek easily soloable on PLD with 90 Ochain? Like, do I need to actually not be bad or could I half ass it with gear and not really care?

Carry a solid MDT set and use Future Fabulous if you're wanting a buffer, but it's mostly just a matter of keeping your HP nearly capped at all times. Only thing you really need to worry about is Blizzaga4 right into a Tyrant Tusk that sends you below 50%, which can cause a KO

I don't know if the recent enmity changes will affect this, but Golden Salvage was super-easy for a SMN to solo. Summon Garuda > put shadows up > check the chest. If it's a mimic, sic Garuda on it and run away until it deaggros. Rinse and repeat until you've found the figurehead KI.

Since I don't have summoner, this intrigues me. To make sure I understand:

Char #1 (BLU) checks chest, spawns mimic, takes no further action.
Char #2 (THF) /ra the mimic after it turns from 15.0 +, both char run out of range?

Was looking through my storage today and noticed i still have a cloud evoker laying around and thought it would fun to try the old fights and even try for a Bahamut's Scythe for skilling up on with my new dual box character. I've done these fights plenty of times but i'm curious if they would be possible with only a duo. Dual box character only has war leveled atm so it would just be me and a friend duoing them. I'm thinking pld/??? and blm/whm maybe could do it but not sure. Any suggestions? Friend has Aegis but no Ochain if that matters. Also if Ouryu is duoable any thoughts on Bahamut fight?
