Does colorful abyssite stay with you forever even after you beat a tier II voidwalker NM or do you have to go get another?

I've tried MNK, mura-SAM, and pre-nerf Relic+Twilight DRK and Mura SAM destroyed Cerb the quickest. We have two DDs SC off each other, so you won't fight nearly as fast, but you should do fine as Mura-SAM, WHM, and BRD/THF. If you decide to skip TH entirely (Or use sash), you can have the BRD set to Paralyna and keep the WHM fulltime cure. No stun is lame, but even if you don't have that, the marches should enable you to rectify the issue with speed.
If you mean the specific color...orange/blue/brown/etc, it breaks on pop, with a chance to upgrade to black, but sometimes not. If you mean "colorful", it stays until it upgrades to a specific color. It can be prevented from upgrading by already having one of the color you can upgrade to. For instance, if camping Capricornous for trials, and it upgrades to Orange (I don't remember the color and too lazy to check), you can prevent it from upgrading by already having an orange abyssite. In essence, you can pop it forever with no consequences.
I just came back and have around 2500 points to spend on the goblin mystery box. Is there any point in NOT doing the 50 point dial every time and should i be doing this all on a certain day/moonphase/insertconspiracytheoryhere etc?
Secondary Question:
I stumbled across a thread where people were discussing Draca Couse for sam. How viable is it and what situations would you ideally use it in over GKs?
Around the last time I was playing, the level 80/85 cap, the magian store TP gkt seemed to be a good idea.
From amongst the Samurai I see now, it seems TP bonus + gkt is the only one used (guessing due to the abundant amount of store tp on items)
Should I toss my 85 keito and just start over on the TP bonus on?
I will probably start playing with a fresh character.
Is there a server where most BG players are or are they spread out across multiple ones? I don't know anyone that plays anymore so it would be nice to have some people around that I know I can contact if I need some help or something.
I have not played in a few years. Seekers of Adoulin is for level capped players, right? I don't want to buy it if I won't be using it until I am done leveling/gearing up.
What should I TP in on Ukon War, if I don't have access to E. Body and P. Body? Can anyone rank these bodies in order given I have the standard appropriate gear for every other item slot?
Ravager's Cuirass +2, Ker's Cuirass, Ares Cuirass +1, Karieyh Haubert, Grandoyne's_Mail (I think Fulad-Zereh tops all these but that shit doesn't drop) If anyone can suggest better body armor that's also welcome ^^
Well yeah, I only havent posted my set because all the stats on those armor vary in Haste, Store TP, crit rate, dex/str/attack/acc, etc. So it should change a lot of my other pieces too. I just mentioned I had everything else available aside from the things REALLY FAR out of stretch (Phos +1, Huginn). I also probably won't have any Ares +1 pieces any time soon(aside from body) because I rotate with friends on plans. If Ker's turns out to be a superior TP piece then my friends wouldnt mind letting me get a quick 15 plans etc.
Gil is just low for me at this point and I've only found time doing events with ls or events that other people can benefit from too. So can't really sit down and just farm for myself 15-20 mil for the -1s.
I used Ravager's body before i got my armadaberk. I dunno if there's better options but Ravager is pretty solid with los of acc and good amounts of stp. I didnt have any salvage gear.
Only thing I've noticed between using 10 points or 50 points and anything in between, is that the less points you spend, the crappier the general items you get is. I don't think there was any definitive proof of anything like day or time influencing items you get. 250 crappy items to npc is a lot also. So yeah, I'd go with 50 points.
For your second question, you'd generally only use Polearm on SAM in capped attack situations. And only if you have Stardiver merited. Or if you're fighting something weak to piercing I guess. But Draca Couse is slashing damage besides WS.
Thanks a lot, I just heard that stardiver is pretty awesome and sam with that polearm can pump out some dmg. I was thinking of maybe using it in dynamis nyzul or salvage, but would tp bonus +100 GK be better in all those situations with Shoha?
Perhaps a good thing to look at for server would be the FFXI Server info under the postcount, as I think most of those are probably accurate.
I think anything involving actual combat in SoA is designed for level 99. That said, if you don't have all the previous content additions, or are starting a new account entirely, then just buying the collection is probably the way to go anyway. Plus, the Destrier Beret and Chocobo Shirt are excellent items for leveling jobs to 30.
If he needs the stp to make his build then this is undoubtedly the best option but there's other ways to achieve the stp these days so it really depends what else he plans on using. I think the best set I've seen so far uses a Pbody, which obviously relies on other pieces for stp. Since you already specified that Pbody is not an option, the rest of your set matters a great deal.
That makes 3 posts now and you've still not provided any useful info. I was just letting him know that ravager's isn't a bad option.
Ok.... let me spell it out for you. If he doesn't need stp to make an xhit build you probably gave him an option that wasn't the best. If he needs the stp and armada is not an option, go with ravagers. Haste under capped? Ker's might fit well depending on your other gear (not optimal but you already said optimal wasn't an option). If you need neither, hold out for Karieyh as it will be the best of the options you provided.
Can anyone tell me how i can add new gear to the dps spreadsheets pls?
Go to the gear lists tab, click on the appropriate section and find the option in your spreadsheet program for adding new rows. Add a new row and input the name and stats.
Stardiver and Shoha perform pretty evenly on SAM from what I've seen. Stardiver seems to pull ahead any time Shoha's attack bonus is irrelevant (i.e. capped attack.) So, it will probably do well in the events you listed since most of those are fodder mobs, unless you mean Salvage II, and even then probably only the bosses.
Now a question of my own.
Has anyone tried Walk of Echoes since the update? I haven't been bored enough to go there and see how much "lower" the mobs are in level. I doubt any of the zones are soloable or low man friendly still.
