Uh, I was fairly sure 10k was mitigated by PDT. Odin2's 10/20k needles is reduced by pdt at least. Regardless, Nin miga tanking is far superior to bringing a pld lol

Not sure about Odin but cactuar xk needles are physical while say discord and blu 1k needles are magical

How do you unlock the 1/3/5 vulnerability messages in Voidwatch? I have the initial periapts and have finished Tav/Bastok/Sand/Wind, but I'm only getting the type of vulnerability, not degree.

Without voidstones, do you still get kill credit for climbing?

The messages should be saying "vulnerable/highly vulnerable/extremely vulnerable."

You buy the KI's from the Voidwatch Officer in any zone. 1/3/5 are japanese shorthand for the weakness message in japanese. It says something like "Foe is weak to XX!" or XX!!!" or "XX!!!!!" for NQ, HQ and EX.

And yeah, you get credit for kills without voidstones, I forgot to stock up one time while doing a climb run and still was able to progress to the next tier, even though I was missing a stone for the last mob of the previous tier.

T1 isn't worth doing, just do T2-3 then buy the T1 item for Odin. This is assuming you want to build up ampoules for mythic or something, if you don't you can just rotate T3 and Odin.

T2-3 chambers are a joke to clear with DD BRD WHM(or SCH), extra 3 jobs can be whatever, extra DDs and mages will make it go faster. If you get the T3 chair boss then kill the blms first and have whatever mages you've got try to keep stuff slept (they will keep being woken up).

Odin can easily be handled by BRD(dispel dread spikes) NIN, extra jobs can be TH/mages/DD. Migawari before 75 50 25 and everyone else out of range, adds don't need kiting since they will have floored accuracy against nin. With 6 people you can just eat 10k needles and kill it with better DD jobs, easy both ways.

Mule BRD with some Abyssea +2s ok for this or would it need horn/daru?

To add, i would be ok with a binder that worked with g15 - normal binder doesnt work, or I havent found a way to make it work.

With how easy it is to get the coins to make a fake empy, if I have a dagger on the trials right before the split between the empy/fake empy path, is it worthwile just spending the 100K or so to get it for soloing? It doesnt take that long to remake and it seems to me a fake empy is still a better mainhand dagger than most others. Is it a complete piece of garbage or a worthwhile dagger to get if you arent going after twashtar?

I had a similar question for Kannagi, my weapon trial has been stopped at the WoE/Empy branching path for like 2 years.
If I do a Kannagi it would stop at 85, maybe 90 but I don't really see me doing Apademak another time.
If I do fake empy it would stop at 99.
And even without aftermath 99 WoE should be >= 85 Kannagi.

Problem is... with all these new weapons being released, the Skirmish ones etc, is it really worth bothering spending the gil for an Empy or a fake Empy? Hence why I put it on hyatus until they show possible tweaks to Empys and, who knows, maybe the god-forgotten WoE ones as well.

I'm actually doing a couple fake Emps myself. I have 0 interest in doing anything related to Abyssea and based on Skirmish drops if you aren't taking the Emp to 99 its not worth it in the first place.

SE has also stated they plan on adding Augments to WoE weapons when they Aug REM. Devious Die and Liminual now drop like crazy and in pouches so its 4-6mil for a 99 Fake emp ready for the augment update.

If its for your main jobs I'd say pursue REM, but for secondary I'd say WoE99 will soon outclass 90 and below Emp counterparts.

Did not even know that existed. Will have to keep my eye out for one. I also realized I need that MAB book ammo from Meeble Burrows, but I have no idea what I need to do for that and I lack a group to do it with anyway.
