Are augmented Valkyrie's Breastplate and/or Armada Hauberk outclassed by any Adoulin armor? Just wondering whether I should keep pouring my kindred seals into possible Nidhogg pops for Ebody still.

While its not any of the vendor gear, Pak Corselet +1 is pretty beastly for Drk if you can do without 2 STP and you don't need every ounce of acc you can get.

No one knows. They're currently unusable as best we can tell.

They look more kinda something to compare to Abyssea buffs, no? Something you can use in specific situations though.

They are considerably easier to get that Atma and Atmacites are, so I doubt that's what it is.

Define "easier", on average I'd say atmas are much easier than farming 40k Baylds, but that's just me.

Does anyone have an updated map pack for use with Mappy which includes the new areas (particularly Morimar)? I have the world's worst sense of direction and this has been driving me nuts.

Is there any reason to merit Grand Fall? Currently I'm 5/5 Heavenly Strike and 1/5 in each of the others, but I don't ever really use Leviathan, and when I do I typically stick to Spinning Dive anyway.

Would cleaving KIs (able to store 4 sets ideally) be more efficient than just farming the pops normally when making a Kaanagi or Almace? I'm guessing it depends on competition, but just thought I'd ask. This would be for the 80/85 steps.

Depends on how many people you have to hold key items. If you only have two or three people it's not worth cleaving, especially not Briareus.

Thanks. Yeah it'd probably be 4 people, so I may as well just grind out the NMs huh? Kinda late to the Emp bandwagon but I need something to do lately. Guess I'll just work on amber while farming the NMs and cross my fingers.

Do I need katana/GK merits to go with those weapons? I could probably hunt down one of those skill+ headpieces if that's all it takes. Never looked into getting those procs since my buddy has NIN, but it would be good to not have to worry about swapping jobs mid farm.

Unless youre doing a bri and cara weapon at the same time and are lookin to give 1-2 chars mediocre xp...never worth cleaning LTP.

Cleaving the first 3 zones are generally not as fun except 1 or 2 mob gross just cause they smaller and/or more spread out I cleaved most of mis stage because well Gukumatz is camped as fuck.... but you can only get 2/3s set cleaving

In order to get Blade: Ei from /NIN you'd need Hope Torque, the skill headpiece, and 8/8 Katana merits. I think to get Jinpu from /SAM you'd need Justice Torque, 8/8 GKT merits and the GKT skill headpiece.
