Is Koga Chainmail worth upgrading to the +2 version?
Is Koga Chainmail worth upgrading to the +2 version?
No. it's only dw+3.
I ran across a guy working on the augment in Tavnazia once, said he was doing it for Ballista. I guess Sange is useful there or something.
Ok thanks! Bleh should have asked this with the last question, but are Koga Feet +2 worth upgrading for Hi and dumping Hachiryu Sune-Ate or is there another piece worth getting instead of either of those two?
Thaumas nails destroy them.
Athos boots with set bonus if you have hands(depending on day) or body to trigger it should as well. The steps are only 2k each on my server though so just buy them anyway until you get the better drops.
You'll want them anyway for the Ninjutsu skill / casting speed- on :San nukes.
Has anyone done Bhaflau Remnants I since the update? Did they ninja in the "We'll make stuff from the rampart NMs also have a small chance to drop from the normal monsters spawned" thing?
Several of us just came back so we're not quite doing NNI yet. Thanks again for the answers!
Honestly I don't see why not. NNI right now is the easiest its ever been (and ever will be after the brava patch). I'd recommend that you build a group for it asap since almost all of the gear is best in slot for their respective sets.
I was under the impression you needed well geared 2H jobs to clear to 80/100 and we mostly had 1H jobs like MNK and NIN and was told that wouldn't work.
Getting consistent 80 wins with not-derps isn't especially difficult. Finding the not-derps, on the other hand...
We have six non derps, we just didn't appear to have the jobs. Maybe I'll try to convince them to give floor 80 a shot at least.
Sch x2 is the most important thing really. A little luck and competent DDs will matter much more than actual jobs, so long as you are moderately geared.
2h jobs is mainly for the hasso advantage being larger under high haste. Mnk however is actually recommended by a few people as there aren't many blunt resistant mobs in there and there are some floors stacked with blunt weak mobs. Formless helps a little too vs pdt resistant flan bosses.
Main thing is good gear and competence.
My mule went with a group that fleehack's the fuck out of everything while I stay at lamp and they only did about as good(probably worse tbh ) as the leftover pickups that had competent people did without fleehacking or even skype i was doing on my main. If you got the usual drk sam war take at least one anyway since at minimum warding circle buff helps vs flayers/demon floors and the fl 100 boss. War can cleave small rooms if there's a sch nearby incase of emergency as well.
At least half the pickups nowadays i saw set for fl100 while agreeing to grab fl 80 if they end up at fl 78 or 79 during the jump process.
Sidenote. How stun resistant are the bosses? It's really hard to run out of mp from just buffing with proper sublimation/refresh gear so i'm tempted to consider suggesting a sch/blm as one of the sch in the future for stunning spam on the more annoying bosses. (I'm looking at you fl 80 charma/stunga bastard)
Along the same token, anyone have any experience taking a BLU into NNI? Almace, if it matters.
joined a group with a blu in it once. it seems to work considering they got 100 pretty easily.
Yeah blu is pretty good. Wont get as much use as some DDs out of embrava but with all the running in there you can pretty much just spam your spells if you got a decent refresh idle set
For Voidwatch, what are the best Atmacites to upgrade for Drk and an Ukon War? Now that I am caught up on clears, except for Morta, Rex, Aello, and PW, and have enough cruor saved up after burning it all before the blinker nerf...I need to upgrade but not sure which ones to go with.
For DRK I believe it's Valiant/Latitude/Deluges. If WAR isn't the same I'm not sure on that.
