As far as I know there is no difference in coinage drops between DC and EP. Someone theorized DC had higher chance to drop 4 coins with less TH or something like that, but it's all crap, Imho they have the same exact drop rate. They do have higher drop rate on forgotten tho, and if you're going with friends they're more fun to kill and usually less competition (which means faster kills => more coins).
I go on BST with pretty average gear (no PDT etc) using Falcorr and around 6 pet food (not 6 stacks, 6 singles per run, typically) and I don't really know what's my average. My best run on singles has been 287 if I recall, which was... fucking awesome.
I would hardly call that an "average" though.
People on these boards are so good and so awesome they would probably laugh at you if you were to come out from a Dyna Farming run with less than 200 coins.
Sometimes TEs really suck, sometimes a bad pull at the wrong moment creates a mess, sometimes there's just too fucking competition even if when you entered there were only 2 other people in zone, after a while you find yourself with 30 other people (why the fuck do people keep on entering when they see a zone is so full?!)
So yeah I dunno.
Some other people take their best result and say that's their average lol, at least many people on my server.
I don't really know what my average was but when I walked out with 180 coins, which was fairly common I hardly ever came out with less than that, I considered myself happy.
Guess I have low standards lol
I rarely had "perfect" runs though, the few times I did the amount of coins I came out with was insane (like that 287 singles one).
Usually there was always at least one thing going wrong in the majority of runs, mostly with people invading the zone after I entered or TEs being bitches.
Anyone know what happened with Astral Flow adjustment ( no BP recast )? They dropped that idea or something?
Was that an adjustement? Wasn't that the idea for SMN's second SP ability, which they still have to release for all jobs? (could be in this patch actually, judging from the fact they announced "a plethora of adjustments for all jobs")
I'm too scared to use jaw0 or I'd totally do, makes a huge difference especially on jobs like DNC and SCH.
Of all the jobs I've done dyna with, BST is clearly the easiest to do TEs with, there's not even a comparison with others. Not just for the utility fo Widescan (I hardly ever even used it) but because of how pets work, you can engaqge them while remaining sneak/invisible and can overall even sacrifice them if you want.
I assume especially after the att/def cap changes (statues hit much harder on players) that stones are nastyer to solo, especially the DC one. But I guess that's not your case since you have a mule and can Prot5 urself.
Still, it's not just the issue of pulling (sometimes you can't do anything but wait a little for stuff to move around) but rather the competition with other players.
I lost count of how many times I ended up in a situation like:
1) I find a TE, it's in the most goddamn lost corner of the map (Quad, close to secret beach), but I try goin towards there. I almost reach it and zaaam! Someone else killed it or is killing it
2) Ok, I wait for the next pop, it's at orcs! Ok! Let's go there! I get there and it's dead.
3) Rinse and repeat
Luckily it didn't happen that often to me in the end, but when it does it makes you wish to just use an instant warp scroll and log for the night >_>
144 seems a bit low but if it's one of your first runs I'm sure you'll get up to 200 in no time![]()
It's on the official forums but information is a bit fragmented because there have been a lot of changes for some JAs. Look HERE
Like THF one changed several times, but they also changed WAR, MNK, NIN and BRD once.
Edit:
Nvm they updated the original post, all the ones listed are the "latest version". At least the latest they told us about.
Bit disappointed by some changes now that I remember about it, for instance BRD. a 5th song? Lol? I liked the idea of the previous 2hr way more than being able of using a 5th song (supposing it was strong enough to make it worth using it). I mean, what 5th song would you even use in a lot of situations?
Got really unlucky with drops though. A lot of times even with thII I'd just get one coin (number of times single drop vs 2 vs 3 etc. Single was by far the most)
You think I'm an antisocial who feels like he's a lone cowboy in a western movie?
I always do but majority of times people are asses. I never denied anybody asking for teamup (even douches) but I hardly ever got replied "yes" by other people when I was the one asking >.>
(ok, /emo moment over)
Am I reading this right? NIN with 5 shadows will have minimum 7 attacks per round?
Assuming capped attack and not loosing shadows that would turn NIN into most powerful DD in game for 30 sec? Tho idk Soul jumping with AM3 Ryuno and 100%DA with halved delay with Annihilator sounds a little crazy too.
YeH rng looks interesting though kinda wondering what they mean by it... like is half delay 50% snapshot cause then stacking snapshot and using mythic might be insane... actually riding am3 with lots of ranged attacks would be insane either way same sith arma. And the 100% rouble/tripleshot. What does that mean especially that and. Does that mean basically quad shot ever time? It almost sounds like with sp2 up it would lower your dps to last stand lol
As far as nin not sure I think there was more info before and it wasn't that many atts
Also remember that those 2hr are the "basic versions".
They mentioned we will be able to "empower them" through a new merit category.
Altough I imagine the "empowerments" we'll be able to access are only things like reducing cooldowns, increasing lasting times and stuff like that.
Do you remember the previous NIN one Atoreis?
Basically their logic was "We want to give complementary SP JAs to jobs, if someone already has a defensive JA we want to give an offensive one and vice-versa".
So according to them Mijin Gakure was already an efficient offensive 2hr, so NIN's new SP JA had to be a powered up version of Issekigan xD
Tbh it was kinda cool but lasting time sucked and anyway for the things they allow us to tank stuff on NIN not particularly necessary. New one is pretty cool instead.
I remember I wasn't particularly convinced by the old MNK one either, and the old BST one sucked completely.
Basically I'm glad by all of the ones which got changed minus BRD. Sounds really lame to me, previous one was much more inspiring.
Both rdm ones sucked hard but old one was somehow much better
I don't know why they'd make a 1h version of Saboteur but whatever.
Oh yeah, new RDM one is pretty bad as well... what was the old one? Enhancing stuff? I forgot but I remember it was kinda meh.
Iirc it said it enhanced duration and potency of buffs cast while it was up but only ended uo doing one of those. Think it was potency
Potency/Duration of buffs cast while active wouldn't have been so bad, tbh. People probably thought it was that awful because:
1) they didn't take into account the soon-to-come nerf to Embrava
2) they couldn't possibly imagine the new one would have been even worse xD
