Did this Yilbegan a couple of times as War, Sch and Thf. Had no problems. Have a feeling we were on the back legs
According to https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Intimidation
" Intimidation works on normal melee swings and can stop spells mid-cast, akin to Paralyze, but cannot stop TP moves or Weapon Skills."
...so where's that leave ranged attacks and JA's?
Quickest way to build bayld?
Aside from the obvious "Thief Knife" response what do I offhand with Macoquetza? STR Thokca or Aluh?
If you already have both, offhand Thokcha. If you don't already have a STR/Attack Thokcha, offhand Aluh.
Does the Mekira-oto +1 have a higher fTP mod than the NQ? BGwiki shows "needs verification" on the NQ.
Anyone got a link to a DPS chart/list of R/E/M how much DPS they are? I remember seeing a post, but can't find it.
At what point does using a MAB staff beat a Chatoyant staff? Obviously a Magian Staff will probably always win, but I got the Skirmish staff for BLM/SCH/GEO and I've been lazy and only have Chatoyant. I thought I recalled something like 60 MAB being the cutoff for it to be 'better'?
Depends on your mab without any staff equipped. If you have +0 mab, a 15mab staff ~= chatoyant. If you have +100, it's ~30mab. Usually ~+100 is where you'll be at best outside of abyssea, so the skirmish staff will definitely be better.
2 person cleave on frogs faster than joining pick up pt on worms (cause this shit sucks and need a few more merits)
Realistically outside of something crazy like abyssea it should win without augments. Now if you get the best of the augments on jp wiki it can actually compete with magians being situationally better. But in alot of regards the numbers I see on there on most weapons are significantly better than what has been posted here.... Also pretty pimp for meteor
