Has anyone retested any enmity stuff post update? I was gonna go test reprisal and foil, but then I realized they effed with every spell I would have used to measure it's enmity against... <,<;;

Yeah to me it basically looks like this
New Naakual Weapons = Drops from Delve Naakual
Craftable Weapon = Mats drop from Delve Naakual
Other new RA/EX weapons = Drop from lower Delve NM's and can be bought with points
Looks like any weapon type that has a Naakual weapon doesn't get a crafted weapon so it would match up. SE's plan is probably along the lines of 'You need the RA/EX weapons and equipment from points/drops to be able to challenge the Delve Naakual'.
Weren't we meant to get new Naakuals too? (Wildkeepers Reive).
Atm we only got "HQ" versions of the 3 existing ones if I'm not wrong.
Sorry for the bump.
Anybody has anything to share about this?
I don't get if it's better with, without or no difference at all with my card.
Or rather: last week I noticed some slowdowns. Some semi-justified ones (colonization reives, ~21fps) and one that made no sense at all (Abyssea NPCs in Ru'Lude Gardens, ~15 fps).
The option was "active" but I have no clue if the cause was the option being turned on or me running two instances of the game at 1920*1080 oversampled at 3840*3840.
Nvidia released a driver for that ended up making 670s crash FFXI to desktop if you had some of the graphical options turned on, like shadows, weather, footsteps. I couldn't run in sli for a long time either, I had to disable one of my cards before I logged in. Since that toggle got added I've had none of the problems, so I'm pretty sure it's SE's fix.
edit - beaten. stupid coffee.
So it's rather something to prevent crashes.
Don't think I've ever had crashes since I jumped on my new PC. Uhm occasionally, a couple when I was dualboxing maybe.
So in theory it should have no impact at all on performance, leading me to think my issue with framerate was because of too much load (2x oversampling for 2 instances probably being a bit too much)
I run at 2x supersampling with 3 XI instances normally and only have dips in FPS around confluxes, telepoints, copious amounts of avatars/geo bubbles, and events where there's so many people that XI can't even load them all on the screen (wildkeeper reives, etc). I don't keep shadows/weather/drawdistance on on my mule windows though, so that helps.
So does the Delve gun outdo Arma + Wildfire?
Is Apex Arrow worth doing 1/5 for a RNG without R/M/E yet but working on Anni?
Was planning to have 5/5 Exent, 5/5 Shoha, 5/5 Last Stand (jobs are THF RNG SAM DNC COR) - sounds like my plans should remain the same even in light of the update? Maybe grab Stardiver for situational use on SAM?
What's your starting resolution though?
Either way we don't necessarily have the same HW, only thing I posted about my configuration is my videocard, a Geforce GTX 670 and to be more exact an Asus DirectCU II.
I was surprised though because since when I jumped on my new PC (July 2012 I think?) those were the first times I've ever saw the frame rate go under 29,4fps
