I admit that I don't entirely understand this question. Do you want the kanji for Thunder, Magic, and so on? If so, why? Are JPs you're playing with not using auto-translate when mentioning procs?

Half seem to use auto-trans, the other half don't, so I feel it'd just be easier if I expanded my limited kanji dictionary a tad. Mainly looking for the characters they use for the elements(I only know fire/water offhand)/weapon-skills, and whatever they use for saying ability.

Already know the jobs from the BG wiki listing them on each page. The link you provided should help a bit at any rate, just building a spreadsheet for my own use.

Is the Soothsayer Staff (DMG:145 Delay:366 MP+50 INT+10 Magic Accuracy+15 "Magic Atk. Bonus"+52) better than the Trial of the Magians Affinity+6 damage staves for SCH?

No. It'd need a fair bit more MAB just to be similar.

It gets MAB/INT from augments and SCH starts out MAB-light, so the answer is probably yes.

Even when the leaders make it clear to do it a lot of members don't bother with the translator. For whatever reason. Goes true for both JP/NA. Hitting tab key is hard I guess.

Once you toss an Airlixir or two at it, it'll have more MAcc than Chatoyant too.

When just comparing MAB, you needed roughly 200 MAB (Or MAB+100 via traits/gear) for 70MAB weapons (Skirmish) and roughly 185 MAB (Or MAB+85 via traits/gear) to begin beating Affinity staves. At 70 MAB, you're near assured SCH will favor the MAB weapon, but SCH can hit MAB+85 with sub RDM comfortably.

I think you have this backwards. Fixed! Given the current progression, it's unclear how long it would take for the staff to start beating the affinity staves. The long-term answer is probably "yes" though.

I already explained how you do it on the previous page. If you are buffing before a fight with troub/night you sing a total of 6 times (4 songs) to get 4 songs with G horn up.

Unfortunately most people i've seen with harp don't have a fucking clue how to use it properly.
