The only DC mobs in Beauc are Fomors though, and they don't sleep plus use 2hr.
In Tavnazia you could do Leeches which are very easy, don't use 2hr, are sleepable and are proccable during WS/JA time (not for coins, but rather to "terror" them and make them even easier to kill) and when no leeches are up you could do Demons behind Leeches or, if you feel lucky, snolls.
All the mentioned mobs in Tav are DC.
Also I personally find Beauc TEs more time-consuming to do compared to Tav ones which, at least with a pet job, are like the easiest TEs of all Dyna areas.


I have a question about the Katana delve weapon, or rather a curiosity.
It seems to me that unlike all other Delve weapons this is kinda disappointing?
Not to say it's not "good" because it is, but it seems to me the "jump" between pre-SoA weapons and Delve ones is much bigger for the other weapons?
Katana: 64 > 87
Dagger: 55 > 91
H2H: +52 > +101
Gaxe: 156 > 231

Am I missing something?

The 30k plasm weapons have similar DPS values (around 2750).

Depends which bosses. I guess w/ new weapons that would be feasible for all of them but I remember certain ones just being giant douches to kill w/ just one melee

Worst one is Samursk, if Oblivion Mantle gets off you will probably wipe with just 1 melee, it is stunnable and easy to predict though (unless you're terrible and take so long to kill it it uses it multiple times).

Have 3boxed most of them DD sch brd, except for the batallia bosses, but only one of them I can imagine is that bad is the book.

Assuming you are doing nq delve weapons it seems.
Yeah kat is only 35% increase while most the others are 40-50% with dagger being a high exception. But that isn't a huge difference in increases. But if you factor in bullet dmg gun only got 9% increase AND get's more delay <.<. So not the absolute worse. But yeah part of it is dps gain with that sexy delay

Any number of his annoying debuffs can prevent you from getting stun off in time if you're not fast at removing them too. Paralyga, breakga, silencega. It's a good idea to get 3/3 HP buff for a safety net. Even if you wipe the 1k HP is additive not % like abyssea so you'll have plenty of HP to zombie it down.

Blus can still cast on it so I'd assume that is decent too.

Any fight where I need to rely on stunning I have brd/blm and bind stun so that my stunner isn't in range of anything to prevent the situation you are describing.

For Chapuli: Mnk is preferable to any other equally geared DD since its pure melee dps is highest in the game.

Bloodbath axe or Uguisumaru? I can't decide which to focus on first. Don't say both, I'm not dropping that kind of money into maxing both out and forfeiting the points to get gear as well.

Both my WAR and SAM have top of the line gear but no really solid weapon to speak of..

Really, it's just what would come out as being superior for damage. I haven't really stared down the spreadsheets.

Do a weapon to like 5 and then max armor. I'd say maxing weapons is a complete waste of points. I'd also say ugu.

Also you should get both before maxing either out if you plan to use both jobs, even without augments they are still a substantial increase over the next best option (unless you have 99koga)

Has anyone else used ultimate pay at all in the past 2 days?

On one account, I tried:

- Pay through paypal
- Pay through CC
- Pay through debit card

Tried doing it on a different character to see if it was character specific -- nope, still doesn't work.

Maybe an IP black list? Tried doing it on phone, didn't work.

So it looks like either ultimate pay is down (someone else should have complained by now...) or maybe ultimate pay just black listed all my characters or something? I do pay a bunch of accounts around the same time every month. >.>

Anyway, I went and added my CC directly to SE account management, skipping the crysta, and it seems to be working for now. Luckily, this is just one character whose billing is off sync with my others, so I don't have to pay for the others for a while. Will try again in a few days to see if it's still broken/weird. :/
