If the whm is getting sufficient refresh (ballad + evokers normally) then they are about even. Biggest advantage WHM has is the ability to spam esuna and curagas. Looking at both jobs without buffs though, SCH has sublimation + convert, and perpetuanced regen5. Af3 pants and cureskin really dont compare to those.
To clarify: All WS get an ACC boost on the first hit. 1-hit WS generally have a large FTP to make up for the lack of hits. This means that (forgive the phrasing) more of your ftp gets the acc bonus than multi-hit WSes.
Unless your skill is REALLY low a good thing to do is to go afk on Megamaw Mickey in Abyssea La Theine.
Just make a macro/script/xml refreshing 3 basic maneuvers.
You're gonna want to keep up:
Water => Magic defense and skillup rate with Percolator
Wind => Ranged accuracy and shoot speed
Light => Regen
Do not put damaging stuff like fire attachments and the like (we want mickey to survive as long as possible). Use "Pet: Ranged accuracy" gear if you have it (Mirke Wardecors, Puppetry Torque, Alternator, Rigor Baghnaghs).
As for atma you're gonna need Atma of the Ducal Guard, a Regen one and I don't remember which one I used for third. A second regen one? Or Dragua's atma?
I remember testing both and deciding one of them was more efficient but I can't remember which.
Once automaton gets under 50% it will be really hard to kill it anyway, even with links. I suppose Alternator will only make it better in this regard.
The tricky part of this strategy is to wait for Mickey to be in a good position (so that you'll get the fewest links possible). Either he pops very far away from the camp, or right in the middle of it so that XP alliances will just kill your links.
Of course this is an issue only if you intend to go afk. If you don't you can just kill adds yourself of course xD
When you're at like 350 skill, maybe even earlier, I suppose it could be faster to skillup in SoA content. Delve or just normal mobs.
You can throw the puppet at basically anything in aby with DG + regen atmas, not just mikey. Chariots, iron giants, etc. will all take your auto forever to kill with no dd attachments/gear/atmas.
Yes but the point is that Mickey wion't move, allowing your automaton to only shoot ranged attacks.
Not only, Mickey will last quite a lot of time, allowing you to go afk as your puppet skillups.
It's a good combination that I used eons ago to skillup ranged, but that was pre-SoA so no Alternator back then.
If I were to test Magma Steak(will prolly be att/str and some killer effect only but who know?), what would be a good target/way to figure out accuracy.
How much total accuracy do you need for menapo in morimar or foret? I have the feeling I am overshooting it but Ceizak and NMs made me paranoid.
What the fuck is a menapo?
Menace plasm, Points (Use a shard)
Mena Po
Meno Pause
Meno Pa
Menapo seemed shorter term than "Fracture plasm farm". Sorry for using such a disliked term.
An answer though would be appreciated.
I dont see why fodder mob levels would vary by area
just call it delve
Ceizak mobs are substantially more evasive than Morimar ones, with evasion buffing beetles (much more significant than Lizard evasion buff) and THF ladybugs. I run with +74 acc and +16 dex (two handed weapon), and cap easily with sushi in Morimar.
I'm pretty close to the actual amount you need, though; if I swap out Letalis for Atheing, I'm uncapped on acc on the Efts there.
630 acc should be the goal for 95% hitrate on delve fodder.
For starters i'd wait until you can use test server to test the food.
Then i think you find the basic mobs that have higher evasion and stack acc gear one by one til it checks a new level of evasion. then you take that acc gear off -> pop food -> check again if still same, add acc again until you change level of check one by one to quantify it.
Anyone can tell me how often the ToAU kings pop? I've just started camping them, but I'm getting conflicting info on how/when they spawn. Do they have a chance to spawn inside their lair during Lv5+ besieged preparation, or is it 21-24 hours? Or is it some weird mixture of both.
EDIT: Also, do I need widescan? I read that you can't see any of the kings via fillmode cause they spawn too far inside... is that true?
I have RDM, COR, SMN, WHM, SCH. Is there any worthwhile relic AF2 equip for those jobs that is worth grinding out the +2 augments for? Seeing as how it's double exp weekend coming up I wanted to look into it.
