What's the best way to get quick merits solo/dual box?
What's the best way to get quick merits solo/dual box?
La Theine worm party. Altepa doll pages. Voidwatch also gives good exp.
How much time / luck / manpower is needed to get a Skirmish Weapon with a good augment (Ninzas in particular)?
With Ninzas, would Shijin Spiral be the best WS available?
For a MNK who never got any Thuamus/Salvage+1 or Tenryu+1, what's the best piece of Usukane +1 to grab first? (Probably Somen then Sune-ate? Are the other pieces going to be useful at all?)
And finally, does NNI still require a bunch of stupid gimmicks like "powder boots or gtfo" and "maxed out SCH locks onto the lamp to keep 2hr active", or whatever else made the event sound incredibly stupid?
85 Armageddon worth making? I'd never 99 the thing; so idk if I'm better off just making a coin wep and waiting for the ws to be released on all weps, and use wildfire via that weapon until then
I'd definitely suggest coin weap. You make Armageddon for Wildfire more than you do for aftermath. Even moreso now as if ranged DPS was your main goal you'd be wanting Delve Gun anyway.
Delve weapon is better and easier to obtain than Ninzas.
You cannot lock buffs anymore, so SCH is pretty much healer with random Embrava fits. Powder boots or clipper recommended still. Groups may prefer Floor 80 spam since they reduced the required trophies and nerfed embrava.
Coin ftw imo.
Full empy gives aftermath, which coin weapon doesn't. For Cor, this is less of a factor as the TP phase of our damage isn't as significant. However, empy gun is probably the single easiest empy path that exists, and I would recommend that personally.
Except Empy85 will be made completely redundant when they allow WoE version to unlock WS on any weapon. For every DD empyrean, unless you're going to 99 it, it's not worth making over the coin alternative to unlock the WS on a different weapon.
What rolls are extremely situational/can be skipped over/which ones do I need to get? at 100k a pop I'm not gonna buy shit I'll never use
This is a must:

These with this augment are very nice if you intend to bring COR to serious LS event where COR rotation is employed:

"Phantom Roll" ability delay -5
This with this augment is nice to precharche your Wildfire with Fire Shots more often, or keep Dia2+Light Shot up more reliably:

Quick Draw Ability Delay -5
These for movement speed+18% or W:Legs for +12.5%

This if you want to be heartbroken one day:

Also, COR needs a TON of RAcc if you intend to shoot for damage/TP. Make that two tonnes...
As I see it:

Um Quick Draw ability delay will have no affect on keeping light shot dia up more reliably because Dia has a set duration of 2 minutes.
Also Omphalos is only good for Light/Dark shot now for the 20 Macc. Midrium is better for damage.
Rolls you need: Hunter's, Chaos, Rogues, Fighters, Samurai's, Tacticians, Coursers, Bolters, Evokers, Wizards, Dancer's
Rolls that might come in handy occasionally: Magus, Monk's, Ninja's, Casters, Warlocks, Corsair's
Rolls worth getting if you do pet shit with bsts and smns: Drachen, Companions, Beast, Puppet
Rolls you can ignore: Healer's, Gallant's, Choral, Scholar's, Miser's, Blitzer's, Allies', Avenger's
Edit: I have no idea why the poster above me ranked courser's as a never-use roll. It's fairly vital for Rng parties.
I'd imagine it being as useful as Paeons. Probably one of those things you'd randomly use to top off HP while sitting around waiting for gathering, and idiots run around to fight mobs.
Instead of buffing them to kill, buff them like a little boy running around in a playground "ok kiddies, run along and dont get into trouble", so you dont have to watch to cure these impatient idiots.
Or if you're running from A to B, same situation, put on HP regen instead of tacticians if everyone already has TP carryover.
If I jump back in, thinking of burning a RNG up for the new content. Coronach is a viable option? I have Khepri Jacket and Armageddon 99 from cor.
How rare are the silverpiece/jadeshell/100 byne drops from the kindred crest 50 fights?
The pld roll was pretty nice for tanking the mobs after they raged lol. Stack enough def/pdt and you can still hold them
How long do indi spells usually last and is it constant for all spells? Since SE doesnt wanna give us an icon when it's a debuff indi spell, figured I'd just put a rule in spellcast to remind me. It's kinda annoying to find your indi spell with a luopan also up.
