Yeah, my bad. I tried to type something, started typing something else, and then ended up with an interesting mix of the two. What I meant to say is the Soul Jump is just 1CE 0VE with no additional effect on enmity, so you can't increase the reduction of anything.

All the RNG I ever pt with asked for chaos/snapshot/samurai/regain

Chaos/Hunters/Coursers are fulltime. Samurai and Rogue's are switched based on the NM you're fighting. Rogue for lesser NMs (higher dmg), Samurai for Mega Boss (lower enmity gain). Tacticians is for whilst yo're standing idle waiting for people to gather.

Previously had unsubbed from the game for a year and Legion seems like the red-headed step child event most people skipped during the lull. So now that Delve is out to pew things easier what kind of strategies are good suggestions for doing Legion?

On the legion subject, to add, is there much gear still viable from it that isn't throwing gil at -1 cursed abjurations? Only ever did 3 of the halls from organized pug runs here pre-nerf.

I assume it's piss-easy now with Delve weapons, even with the SMN/SCH 2hr nerf.

Define viable? Think duplus is still best melee grip. Striga Crown still good for aspir/drain. Maniacus Sash best nuking dmg. Chuparrosa Mantle still good for absorbs. Esper Earring for bp dmg. Think Mustela Brais still only snapshot legs. Wrathwing Nails might still be good for some jobs. Wurrukatte Boots only non hexed snapshot boots think best crit rate for some of the jobs on it too. Proably some other ok stuff but hard to say with all the new

Gear that's still applicable/situational useful and/or hasn't been made completed obsolete by SoA's obtainable stuff.

Need to find me an LS to do that stuff in whenever I get off my PS2. Shit just blackscreens in any alliance content.....

Mustela Brais replaced by Nahtirah Trousers. Maniacus Sash is a debateable choice over Aswang Sash - 1MAB is not always worth losing 13 MAB. Especially not if you play Sch. The NQ Abjs are augmentable now too so Kheper Body/Feet/Head, Paen Head, Hrafn Feet, etc are good.
Arise has like doubled in price since ppl stopped doing Prov, so thats another bonus.

Totally forgot about Nahtirah... given he said he only pugged legion I doubt he has a group killing delve megabosses though... but yeah probably just as good or better though hard to say since I doubt anyone has really tested eithers snapshot that well. Edit2: Is it possible to hit 500 enhancing on Whm whilst using AF2+2 legs and 4/5 AF3+2 to cap barspell? And if not, is it worth swapping out a piece of AF3 (like head>nabu's), swapping set bonus for that last few points?

An old Macbook Pro, which FFXI loves to stress one of the cores out for some reason, making it heat up like a mofo (90C+) during alliance content. I prefer to avoid them for the sake of this laptop's lifespan, particularly when I don't have another machine as a backup to use my general online tasks.

I'd rather my PS2 kill itself playing XI before my laptop, even if it means dealing with slideshows, blackscreens, inventory crashes, no SoA, and the game pausing every time it needs to switch a macro set.

Accuracy becoming relevant once again and less necessity to use Tyrant to keep up X-hit builds probably made Mars ring become more "requested", hence raising the price?

Throwing $600~ at parts soon enough to build a new gaming rig to last me the next 5 or so years. I use laptops for primarily production (Was in art college, macs, etc) and media consumption, not gaming.

Will be nice, since I couldn't 2box that well on my old single-core toaster in anything above a single party.
