What would be the best method to figure out a monster's int?
I've been trying to work out a way, but because of the difference in how the D term of magic damage is at different INT levels, I'm not sure.

Obviously removing all bonuses outside INT is helpful in simplifying it. However I'm not sure what techniques woudl be effective.

Has anyone been having connection issues with FFXI? My internet is fine, but I have been having really bad lag all day(Actions not firing off for a couple seconds after using a macro, etc) and now can't even log in.

What's the trick to getting your bazaar contents to show on item searches on FFXIAH? It seems very random whether it picks up my Alexandrite/Heavy metal/whatever, even though that stuff is listed properly on my character page. Just now, I was listed on the heavy metal page, but someone bought half my plates and now I'm no longer listed. I don't get it.

My FFXI connection was utter crap 6-8 hours ago, but it's been relatively fine since.

Noticed the game in general's been feeling sluggish for the past few days, thought it was just me being annoyed. For some reason I always spend Salvage with absurdly high R rate, but it's not bad enough to affect playability. Just odd.

Are you on guildwork? Bazaars are updated when someone with the guildwork for windower checks them. So You could bazaar something for a month but if you don't have guildwork and no one checks your bazaar it wont get shown on FFXIAH.

Yeah, I have Guildwork loaded all the time, and I get checked pretty frequently. Can I cheat and check my own bazaar?

I'm considering levelling a DD. It's more to have something other than mages/support. I'm not interested in MNK (levelled it on my alt) or SAM at all. Is it completely pointless to level DRG right now? What would it take to make a decent DRG? I'm aware that WAR and DRK are riding high and know a bit more about them but I know not very much about DRG.

When looking at item, have you tried clicking show all or scrolling through all the pages of the listing?

Are the nation retrace staves, olduum ring, tavnavian ring, etc. porterable/storable in any way?

drg is a lot of fun and can tear it up pretty well in old content, but on anything high tier you're going to see your numbers fall quite a bit behind other front line DDs. in Abyssea drakesbane is pretty solid. outside stardiver is better, but drgs native lack of attack really starts to show when you fight anything over DC.

drg is a lot of fun and can tear it up pretty well in old content, but on anything high tier you're going to see your numbers fall quite a bit behind other front line DDs. in Abyssea drakesbane is pretty solid. outside stardiver is better, but drgs native lack of attack really starts to show when you fight anything over DC.

I'd like to also note that SE also saw fit to give Drakesbane a native atk penalty which really helps to cement how screwed over drg gets as far as atk goes.

wouldnt valk BP be still better then armada unless you need the +6 STP from armada for a hit build?

Armada beat valk everytime you need accuracy, ddex give you more crit rate or you need the stp, the best current know war build need stp on armada. There are set with valk being ahead of armada but those aren't the best set anymore.

My mule has litterly 0 allied notes. Other than campaign is there a significant activity I could do to gain some? Moreso for the teleport utility than any specific items. If it matters I can go with on my main. Any strat, other than just zone hoppin chasing battles?

you can upgrade an armor once per game day. You can actually do one right at 23:50, then another at 0:05.
