What's the best way to kill multiple uncharmable mobs at once on BST? The pets attack whatever attacked them last. If I have multiple mobs, I can't kill them one by one, and my pet is smacking each one once so I can't even help without pulling hate instantly. (cause the pet only attacks my target once every while) and once I pull hate my target isn't hitting my pet at all and so I need to waste time spamming fight only to get one more hit in.

Are you talking lvl100+ mobs? I can't remember many situations on pre-100 mobs where hate was a real issue on multi-mob fights. Build TP, WS, snarl, and it tends to last until its dead or Snarl recast is back.

Did it way back about the time after 99 (might have even been before) with 6. Forgot the setup though, there was me (mnk) thf, blu, pld something something darkside something something.

I did it around a year ago with just 3. An Apoc DRK, a naked THF(go go TH), and a SCH. I was on SCH, and problem ended up me having MP issues since I forgot you had to nuke it out of its regen state and I wasn't being very conservative. Still cleared it with lots of time to spare though.

Several people stream ffxi on twitch.tv. I used to stream a little Diablo3 and some older FF games about a year ago and didn't think it was much of a pain.

So I recently soloed the entire Waking the Beast questline including Carbuncle Prime, but when I killed him (well, all 5 copies of him) and got the cutscene, nothing dropped. Is that normal? Is it something like 0-3 items will drop and I just got unlucky? I've never done this before back when it required an alliance of SMN, so I don't know. Afterwards I went and got my Carbuncle's Pole. Will I have to re-do the entire Waking the Beast avatar fights for the Eye key items, to once again enter the Carbuncle Prime fight to get another chance at the items?

Did you try running in vanilla XI to see if it works there? If so likely some 3rd party thing. If not, try a file check (not that those ever work) and as a last resort try to chat with the help desk...
Otherwise donno. Works fine for me now that I assigned a key to it.

This question is more directed towards Taint and Jem, but whatever. For DRK on Tojil, it seems that Seal/Void absorb-acc would be the tits, giving 38 acc by my numbers, unless I did it incorrectly. Best thing? Or would something else be better used on the JAs? I'm under the assuption that drain 2 won't stack with Mantra.

Also, in a MNK strategy, would Diabolic Eye be a bad idea with the HP down? 35 accuracy is a pretty substantial boost, though.

Been awhile since I played BST in a charming fashion, but can't you hit Leave on your pet and recharm it, to force the adds that linked against your pet to idle?

Can't recall if you had to be out of range for that though, which would screw up the recharming bit. Also not really duo'd with another BST when we've had 3+ mobs on us years ago, so I'm not sure if both pets spin around on hate, or if the one can focus on killing a single mob while the other BST's pet just attacks at random targets that have hate on it.

For Daurdabla you only need it for the extra songs right? So you can sing 2 with Ghorn then the next 2 with harp.. then overwrite the harp ones with ghorns?

It was posted awhile ago, but I forget exactly. It's either that, or you rewrite songs 3 and 4 (or 1 and 2?) with the horn.

Pretty much this though the one thing to be careful with is everyone that you want the songs on is going to need those songs (2 real 2 dummy) before you go back and overwrite with the last two. IE if you are in a rotation with another bard you'll need to do your six (2 real 2 dummy 2 real) in each party unless they already have 'your' four songs up.

One more slightly obvious thing but can be overlooked. To give yourself more leeway between first song pair and last song pair, make sure you take out anything possible that extends song duration for the middle unwanted placeholder songs.

You can't be reported for anything that exists outside of the game (e.g., screenshots, videos, et cetera). You can be reported by someone in-game if they are aware of your streaming something, but if none of the things you are using would be evident to GMs nor the STF, nothing would happen. They would not scour the internet in search of a stream you're participating in.

Basically, don't speed hack liberally while streaming if you have very dedicated enemies on your server. Otherwise, no fucks given.

ok :D i use very bare minimum plugins and plan to try out my stream for upcoming FFXIV ARR

ima use it as a prelim test on delve mega boss but scared to get reported for using windower (YES SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE STILL THINK WINDOWER IS HACKS)
