Fight went pretty smooth with mnk/nin x2 thf/dnc and whm (mule)

So could probably do it just as well with mnk + thf + whm (or sch)

Also, no death in a fire, my drop rate on that was almost as bad as when I got the 35 mask back in 2008. Fought the hydras and SSR bosses more times than I care to remember.

You'll die in a fire because I told you to Goddammit. Really though, congratulations.

Been duoing all SSR plan nms + both bosses whm + mnk/thf (whom is a casual player with no NNI gear, no delve gear beyond rigors, etc.) with plenty of time left over. Mnk needs enough -(m)dt/hp to survive a nuke with curse up, and sacrifice after cackle/bilgestorm. Also went sch/rdm + mnk/nin once, just need to cast ni after cackle, no TH that way thou besides sash.

2 genta helms in 4 runs, no feet thou.

Sounds good. I have PDT and MDT sets for my MNK, not to mention everything else, like WS, hybrid, Chakra, etc. Thanks to everyone for their replies.

Forgot to mention: both bosses are fully susceptible to gravity (seems like most stuff in salvage 2 is?). If your DD dies for whatever reason, your mage can potentially kite it around for 5 minutes, had to do this on our first run lol.

Double MNK + WHM w/ swap-in MDT gear should be fine? I've done NQ/HQ without any real issue as a MNK/THF SAM/WAR WHM/SCH setup. Mantra helps for when he manages to squeeze in a nuke right after the aoe-curse (bring those holy waters). Two hundred fists at hand also if thinkg get awry. Only difference with our setup is SAM Circle helps for free +15% damage + intimidates. Is dead before MP ever becomes an issue, so our WHM is typically just throwing Curagas like they mean nothing.

I need to get off my ass and make melee+2 gloves. Been sitting on my nommers for awhile now, which is fine until I start bringing this in for Delve content after I finish my usu+1 head.

Trying to avoid using spellcast because it crashes my shit (this was months ago) and I'm generally clueless with it. Would this macro work for precast/RA/endshot set for RNG using regular windower?

    Console exec rngpreshot
    /ra
    /wait 1
    Console exec endshot?

You need a / infront of both console exec I believe. That's exactly how I do it.

All the RNGs I speak to swear by having 2 separate macros though. That's probably a better route.

At some point, the disparity in damage between the two hands would leave you better off single wielding the stronger axe unless you're getting some other huge gain in the offhand (double attack or whatever), so that needs to be taken into account as well. I'm guessing most types of Magians axes, and probably Skirmish axe as well, would be far too weak to be worth offhanding with Kerehcatl main hand.

You'd want the wait to be .5

I do it using Script for Precast and Spellcast for Mid/End cast. Helel gave me the idea and it works great.

That sounds interesting how exactly you doing that? Kinda a noob with scripts since I went straight from SE maccros to spellcast so would have even less an idea of how to use them together or why you would really

Any particular reason to do it that way? Mine is completely spellcast and I have no issues at all.

It all spawned from doing the Bee Delve boss and all the lag around him. My arrow rate was lower then people not using Spellcast, so I was probably firing without snap gear being precasted. The only small disadvantage is I have to use macros to fire shots now.

    Dasva:

    My macro is this

    /console exec RNG/Snap.txt
    /ra

    My spellcast is: pastebin.com/u/bwool40
But I'm not sure its updated without the precast, I'll check when I get home.

Yeah, need the /. I left it out because that's general knowledge and my phone is annoying with anything that isn't letters.

Anyway thanks for the input everyone, glad to hear I can get away without spellcast for a litle while longer. My main concern was that in the middle of a zerg (Delve boss obvuously, 95% of the reason I made a gun) with all the lag and effects and shit going off is that the endcast set wouldn't equip, but it seems that's an even bigger issue with SC.

Sidenote question pertinent to the above: any other snapshot foot options other than Wurrukate(kheper/khepri has it too iirc)? Both of those are a dick to get.

Spellcast definitely isn't a requirement for RNG. None of our RNG's use it (myself included and I do spellcast other jobs). We down Muyingwa in 12 minutes so can't be gimping us too much!

Wurru and T Feet are the only snapshot feet options to the best of my knowledge.

Messing around in the spreadsheet with it, a maxed Halachuinic comes out well ahead of single weilding and all axe options.
