with low buffs asuran? wtf missing 1 of the 8 punches is highly likely than missing 1 hit of SS since you are already low buffed

not to mention MNK got pretty decent multi hit for WS set and means there is still more potential on SS than asuran hitting 8 hit max anyway....

I think the whole low buffs part has more to do with gearing since with asuran with the crap stat mods and the high as hell base dmg weapon adding stat mods doesn't do much as well as there is no point in adding any qa/ta/da so you can gear more att/acc in. Plus while sure you are more likely to miss 1/8 hits on asuran then 1/x on SS you are still missing the same amount on average if you have the same hit rate... so really means nothing other then one is SS likely to epeen but at seem time more likely to wiff harder

SS get a big buff from Fighters and potentially from attack/acc buffs. Asuran you are stacking att/acc regardless since the mods suck and you are already swinging 8 times.

Can lag ever cause a macro that swaps gear prior to something with no wait cause the ability to go off before the swap occurs?

The connection I play on is prone to going LD for about 10-20 sec every 30 min or so, and I see that happen quite often when it does. Part of the gear will swap, sometimes none of it, etc. Whenever lag hits, it seems to really depend on exactly when it hit. If it was prior to hitting your macro, nothing will happen, and depending on the duration of the lag, the macro may still fire off, or if lagged for a considerable amount of time, you'll need to hit it again. If it hits right when you hit your macro, some things will take effect (some gear swaps, etc).

For macros like that, I've got a .5 sec wait just to ensure that gear is swapped in congested situations, as well as to visually see that the number of swaps happen that should (gogo Windower 3.4 Silencer on XP).

For Odin T1, at 49% since it will Dispelga 1st and then immediately follow with 10k needles, since the lowman strategy is to use Migawari to negate this, what's the best way to time casting this spell?

Except it will do 10k needles then dispel, this should be pretty obvious since people are using Migawari to block it. No way the average player would be able to time it reliably if it did dispel first.
