Other key we found years ago was to only have a NIN on it, period. Even when our THF went in to poke it and swung a few too many times shit would hit the fan. So, 1 DD, preferably one with subtle blow, and support him.

In my experience, ArraII offers the highest. A floor with 4x rampart spawning 7 gears each, and all of them guarantee 1 with slight chance at 2. Rampart themselves are also 100%.

Then next floor with armored chariot there are various archaic chariots that gives 1 minimum, with the rare 2.

I usually walk away from those 2 floors with ~45 alone, not counting boss linen.

Prior to neo salvage, I'd say SSR, but having not seen linen in like 7 runs with /THF makes it bleh. I like my guaranteed linen.

Thanks, myself and 2 lsmates are brand new to neo-salvage trying to figure the new zones out. One of the friends is only interested in alex, so I figure 1/3 runs will be a dedicated alex run. Are there other specific NMs you target otw up or mostly just unlock, clear gear/chariots, kill boss, leave?

There's never a reason to do a specific "Alex Run" with 3 people. You should be able to clear every Alex dropping monster in each zone. In addition to the monsters you named, make sure you kill Acroliths (they can drop cottons) and any old-boss chariot can also drop a cotton.

Once you get a few Neo-Salvage runs under your belt, you will see what I mean. The event just isn't very difficult.

Regarding magian TP bonus/WS damage...

Do both work in either hands? I have TP bonus+100 dagger. Would I be able to use that in offhand and vice versa? How about WS damage one?

Funny question:
suppose you have capped gil (999,999,999). You bazaar something for 10.000 gil. Will the buyer be able to get it, or will he receive an error because you don't have enough "space" for gil? Or will that gil just get lost and the buyer will get?

I thought someone confirmed that the duration bonus was activation based, but the damage bonus required the body to be equipped during attacks.
