Considering (at least it sounds like it from your post) that you're fresh to Adoulin, it depends on what gear you're coming in with. Returning with 90 Vere or something? You'll prolly good with those til you can get Rigors. Starting fresh and generally feeling lost with your AH weapon? I'd pick em up as a stepping stone.

To be frank though, if you don't have an LS or friends that'll help getting Delve KIs and plasm, you may have a hard way to go, as most groups that still run it shout for retarded standards. Saw a shout earlier in the week advertising for rank 10+ delve weapons for KI NMs lol.

I have a question about the quest Don't Ever Leaf Me. What kind of rod do I need to get the Fishing KI and what kind of bait?

Also, is the Quest page on BG wiki complete? I'm missing, like, 6 or 7 quests and I'm barely above Fame Level 4, and even repeated the 3 repeatable quests a couple of times.
Sounds time I won't get fame level 5 even if I complete all the quests I'm missing, which leads me to think there has to be more quests than those listed on the BG Wiki Quests page.

Were tigers getting intimidated by boulders? Or were you stating that Roots are plants because you've seen tigers be intimidated by them?

Stretching logic to many boundaries, I can think of the following:
Plantoid as well - rocks are still formed from the ground naturally
Amorph - based on worms
Arcana - Rocks are formed via lava usually, and golems and maroliths are kind of living rocks. (though arcana is an inanimate object coming to life, I'm almost certain SE would link the boulders to maroliths and golems)

Hop on drk and see if Arcane Crest works on em.

w/Deluxe Animator: Aero does 181 damage. (94 INT)
w/Forefront Animator: Aero does 262 damage. (94 + 47 INT)

How much (if any) MAB is that? Thanks.

I do use blinkmenot on RNG because fuck watching myself blink like 3 times every time I shoot... but would that really cause him to start singing >_>? It was 100% our Yoichi RNG (who doesn't even have bard leveled) and not somebody else. The RNGs all lined up in a tight arc to decoy and there were 3 guns out and one buffoon giving a broadway acapella in a Khepri Jacket.

yeah if you loaded his model when he didnt have a ranged equipped and then he equipped it later and fired, you'd get that animation. Easy to test yourself.

Is there a place to look on these forums where people discuss optimal gear sets? I tried searching in the spreadsheets forums but didnt find anything conclusive.

Id really like to find out the 100% max optimal gear sets for my jobs now with all this new stuff that came out, and what paths work out to be optimal on delve armor for said jobs.

Also: Is kirin's osode with max dual wield augment still BiS tping body for brd or with new pDif is af2+2 body better?

Verifying with new formulas, since automatons should be using them:

Aero with 94 Int (88 dInt vs lvl 1 mobs) and 15 MAB (3 Optimization) = 181 damage. Match.

Aero with 141 Int (135 dInt vs lvl 1 mobs, where dInt > 100 doesn't contribute to tier 1 nukes) and 15 MAB (3 Optimization) = 195 damage.

With 55 MAB, expected damage is 263 (1 higher than reported); with 54 MAB, expected damage is 261 (1 lower than reported). Barring inaccuracise in the dInt equation, it would imply approximately +40 MAB (same as Alternator).

Need to re-verify that tier 1 nukes do not improve with dInt over 100. If they do, the total MAB will be lower. You can treat 40 MAB as the max value it can have, for the time being.

If you have the duckbills, every extra merit level gives you 10 DEF. I personally gave my mule 4/5. It all depends on what you're fighting because the attack/defense thing is a ratio. IIRC I'm usually around something like 700 DEF with protect up, so if I take that you'd get something like:

+30 DEF: -~4.1% damage
+40 DEF: -~5.4% damage

So I'd say it helps a little. Not a whole lot, but it's nice. It stops being useful if you're fighting something with really, really high or low attack, but given the expanded ratio range I don't think that ever actually happens. If you're getting more defense buffs it gets worth less and less but how often are you actually going to be getting Minnes?

One thing though, if they keep going with vertical progression, it's gonna be worth less and less because of increasing DEF on armor. Wonder if they plan on fixing that somehow.

Is there a weather NPC anywhere in Adoulinian lands? The last quest I need done for Adoulin is Geothermal Expedition and I've been on it for a week because MORIMAR IS NEVER FUCKING SUNNY. EVER. ARGHBLE.

I didn't see anything on either wiki, but I know that both of those aren't perfect.
