Assuming test server Atinian Staff stats go unchanged, what are the remaining uses for Chstoyant? I have to keep it for Cures, but what else?

Resting is a given... Aspir? Drain? I know MAB doesn't affect Drain, but does Magic Damage+?

Don't think anyone has tested magic dmg with it but int doesn't so I wouldn't hold my breath... that said int does effect macc and acc is huge for aspir/drain

Sorry that's what I meant Atinians huge macc difference will probably dwarf chats potency. But yeah probably lightstorm healing peice though tamax/genbu is still rather strong

I have 49% cure pot on SCH (Heka/Bokwus/Nares/Phalaina/Chat) all of which are best in slot for more MND anyway.

And lolBLMhealsno1curr. I am curious to see how BLM's dps is spamming T2 nukes next patch.

Yeah more for non schs but still nice. Depends on if they adjust the caps on magic dmg stat lol... otherwise maybe T3/4 might be better?

So I just logged into my mule (Taru M), and logged out using the /logout command for pretty much the first time in 5 years. Immediately after, I logged back into my main (Hume M).

Come to find out, my main has been transformed into a Taru M, same model as my mule.

Is this a glitch with FFXI itself, or is Windower/Plastic Surgeon derping up?

When in doubt: Bayld. If you have reasonable access to Fracture Bee/Shark/IMPERIUS REX, go for the Bayld.

I went for Xux Pants from the first group just because they're the only piece in-game atm with over 8vit that MNK can equip and that I can get access to.
Still haven't made up my mind on the second item.
Got loads of Bayld (like over 200k atm?) but alas no chance to kill fracture bosses. Best I got is a 60% Tojil lol
Without a LS and the right "friends" it's not easy.

You'll get the end amount but doubt you'll get much if any evals inbetween. Debuffs seem to give next to nothing and the initial dmg on it is hardly anything

So this weekend I'll most likely burn through all 3 addons (Crystalline, Shantoto, Moogle) to completion but was curious on what would be the most beneficial armor+aug combinations that can cover ends other gear just can't.

MKE- pet: PDT/pet: haste augment for BST and/or PUP, or -Waltz delay for DNC

ACP- QD-/MAB is the most useful unique thing this can give.

ASA- Movement speed wouldn't be terrible if you lack the other options (like Herald's for a mage). At one point I might have suggested PDT/haste for a hybrid set, but I think the base defense on them is just too low at this point. Barrage+1/Racc isn't bad for RNG. Waltz TP cost- is okay for DNC I guess.

There are a couple of other possible uses for each, but that should give you some ideas.

Plasticsurgeon saves whatever race/gender you log in as for the default, you can turn it off and swap gear to turn back to your normal character, or just do the proper commands to pick what you want to look like.
