For ASA legs there are several interesting options for pet jobs.
Nothing game breaking of course, but pretty unique stuff.
Repair +10% for PUP (I have this, altough since they added Oil+3 this is hardly useful at all),
Pet: Acc/Racc/Macc (hardly useful these days imho)
Pet: Att/Ratt (can be nice but it's just +7)
There was another thing to reduce sic/ready recast, which I found useful back when I was spamming TP moves in Dynamis to proc mobs, dunno how useful it is other than that.
And a Siphon bonus for SMN as well? Again, not uberly useful but pretty unique.
I've taken Adoulin fame up to Rank 4, and I've done enough tags to be "Rank 3" in the Pioneer's Coalition.
Naakul KIs are still 50,000/75,000 for me... how much more do I need to do in order to start getting the bayld discount on these?
I can only give you a rough estimate since I haven't kept track of all my imprateurs, but I'm rank 2 pioneer, rank 2 in couriers, so ~40 imps there. Between the other coalitions ive probably used about another 20-25, and the other night right after i used 15 in couriers it dropped down to 45k for the first set of KI. Fame wise I haven't checked but I've done hardly any quests I can't be more than 2-3.
EDIT: Original question no longer relevant.
Regarding Nerrivik (Foret T4 NM)...
- Can his lamp attacks be reliably avoided by keeping target lock off, and turning away when he charges a TP move, or is it too fast/too much of a clusterfuck to depend on?
- Vaguely recall some exploitable weakness, possibly involving BLU, being mention from this guy. Any thing useful to know about killing it?
You shouldn't be worried about getting charmed, if your stunners aren't terrible its easy to stun (bring 2 stunners and animation stun everything, some moves will go off due to much faster charge time) and with 1-2 parties of buffed melees lamps will break within 30 seconds of engaging almost always.
I've never tried turning, some are honestly just too fast to do that.
Solution to him is have some stunners for sleep/charmga TP moves, then your typical melee parties with buffers, and a cors for Rogues roll. Maybe a WAR if you're feeling saucy for Mighty Strikes. Soon as the lanterns go down, it's a joke.
Should have specified I'm on Shiva.
Right, breaking the lamps. That's what I read about.
So basically with a PUG, it's gonna be won or lost in the first minute or two? If lamps break, you'll win... but if not, and people start missing stuns, we're all gonna be dead?
He loses the worst of his TP moves when his lanterns are broken (chance to break with crits). One of the methods groups have used to minimize TP move use while trying to break the lanterns is BLU/BLM for ES Absolute Terror, which may be what you've heard of. Since you can fight him right near a Bivouac, it's possible to utilize a small rotate of BLUs doing that, warping back to the mog house to reset timers, and come back.
Obviously that's not the most efficient want to do it, but again, that's probably why BLU came up in connection to him.
Then go rdm/blm, sch/bm, blm/??? yourself and do it, its incredibly easy to stun (if you don't have a job levelled its not really an excuse, a day in exp parties and a couple more getting basic gear). Stuff like rogues roll/mighty strikes isn't going to make any difference if the alliance the been setup half way intelligently and you rotate buffers before fight.
If you break lamps its not threatening, but whms need to erase/viruna/paralyna as needed or it will take forever.
have a stunner whos not a complete retard just focus on stunning lanterns till they break. After, just have them focus on seismic tail (its pretty decent chargeup). Deathgnash cant kill anyone (top off with a cure4/5), belches will need virunas, seaspray will need erase on those hit. (annoying but not threatening at all). Even Seismic probably should only do like 700-1k, but between the aoe and knockback (since it casts graviga), that move has the potential to do the most damage possible to you, and hinder damage to it.
We just stun everything since our SCH only use charges to stun venom shower on Krab, leaves them plenty to stun orobon. And I'd say Belcg is the worst TP move, easily. Between the paralyze crippling your white damage and the plague destroying WS frequency (along with not getting TP due to para), dps slows to a crawl if too many get off. No reason for seaspray to get off either, the charge time on it is really long
It drops you to 1 hp. If you're wearing Rancor shit, it will oneshot. If you have Scherzo, it is laughable.
Is any of COR's af2 used for anything? I figure I'd better level one up and I had extra points from the login campaign to burn.
Yes, all of their relic is useful. For specifics, just wiki it.
anyone know which of the login campaign items are d.boxable between characters on the same account?
