warping takes travel time, and if I'm popping it weakened to start with, theres a chance I die before I even hit /join, so if it immediately depops or loses 100% bead from goin idle, theres a potential problem.

Though it seems 100% bead will be active till it depops, even if it goes idle.

This is incorrect. we got a tense pressure message on kurma, and when the popper died we got another message saying that the pressure subsided. We killed it anyway and it didnt drop bead.

Also the popper doesnt have to be outside of party (for kurma anyway) as long as you dont have retards who pull it off you when you die, just have everyone stand back a bit and have a designated voker (or chi-blaster or whatever).

When I popped Scorp in pt first time, it killed me then attacked others in alliance. Its possible that someone was resting and didnt fess up about it.

Don't know if it's normal, but it's always been that way for me too.

Question: Do the latent effects on Forefront weapons work within Skirmish/Delve/etc? Similar to assault latents working in besieged?

Tellus. Offensively, you want to have the element they are weak to. Defensively, you want to have the element that the element they are using is weak to.

Tellus makes the target weaker to Thunder, as Earth > Thunder.

What is the priority for endgame melee gear? Should I try to cap haste or damage reduction (it doesn't seem possible to do both as dragoon)? Should I stay in hybrid sets during things such as delve bosses, or should I count on the stunners to stun high damage attacks while meleeing in pure dd sets? It seems like it would be possible to melee in dd sets and swap to a damage reduction set before some tp moves went off, but not all.

This is a great question that most players fail at.

TP Sets: TP Fodder, TP Mid, TP ACC
The focus here is, hit rate, Cap ACC, Cap Haste, then Cap Xhit/DTQA/Crit/Att.

Hybrid Sets: Hybrid Normal, Hybrid ACC (spellcast can do this easily for you using the above TP sets as base sets for the Hybrid)
The focus here is hit rate and -DT, Cap ACC/Haste first then stack as much -DT as possible.

-DT sets: PDT,MDT
The focus here is damage reduction with little concern for hit rate.


You want to sit in TP sets as long as possible on boss mobs. I toggle between TP and Hybrid sets depending on my HP. Typically anything too dangerous will be stunned. The problem a lot of DDs have is they use TP and DT sets only. So their DPS goes from good to shit constantly instead of Good to ok.

Upheaval is worth it for WAR yes. Atleast do 1/5.
