Iaso Mitra is an item you can get a good return on, can't HQ it until 109 though.

How much Magic Accuracy are there in the Elemental Staff Trials? Is it worth using Xsaeta II Macc staff to maximize the duration of Impact in non E-seal conditions?
Any tips for proccing Megamaw mikey? Is a bitch with the whole TP moves instead of standard attacks and spell spamming. Is it just gonna be a case of repeatedly killing without blue and hoping?
Like every other mob that uses tp moves or aoe attacks instead of normal attacks, you just proc between hits....
sort of annoying with the whole knockback thing. Found an easier way tho: Get hate on one character, then move them away from NM and idle in mdt stuff. Then proc on another character. He'll still be targeting the first char so he wont use any TP move if he's out of range.
+40 MACC if I am reading your question correctly
http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Magic_Affinity
If you were building a MNK only for Neo-Salvage and ADL farming only would you go 90 Vere or 95 Sparai and why?
Did someone vandalize that page or something? I don't remember it being right before, but I also don't remember it being quite so wrong.

Would your answer change 99 Spha v 90 vere? Marrows are almost down to 10m each on odin so 50m is sort of meh
@Bryth - fucking fuck, I just spent like a month making macc staves under the impression it was +40 macc based on that god for saken page. So +20 macc Chat. v Magian MACC?
Yeah, that's my impression. Admittedly, no one has done rigorous testing either way, but it seems silly to assume +10 -> +20 -> +30 -> etc. when the first two stages of damage bonus (which is all that's actually easy to measure) match NQ->HQ Staves.
The odds of anyone actually collecting conclusive evidence one way or the other are pretty freaking low, and I doubt they did.
I'm seeing +30 macc Chatoyant vs. +35 macc magian
Chat is equivalent to affinity+2 which should equate to MACC+15 (wiki source, sigh)
Macc magian is affinity +6 which should equate to MACC+35
So, MACC+20 difference, what are we seeing differently?
edit:
I assume you're pulling this from the BG wiki Chato page: <-idk how that lines up chart wise...
Has the following hidden effects:
All elements: Magic Potency +15%
All elements: Magic Accuracy +30
kparser still the goto parse program?
Well it's wiki but I seem to remember the old tests on macc that nq and hq elemental staffs had 20 and 30 macc respectively. Can't find the links to the testing but I remember they looked pretty solid. Also bg wiki's 15 macc for 2 affinity just doesn't make sense. That would put a stat staff at similiar macc as an elemental and back at 75 when enfeebling and potency matter there was a very clear difference in land rates between the 2
Don't really see a reason not to /BLM on most of the jobs that can have issues with critical resistances. BLU, NIN, BRD, etc.
-If you're fighting something super weak, you're able to do respectable damage, but you don't want to because lights are the limiting factor.
-If you're fighting something that's relatively difficult, you're not able to do respectable damage, so you may as well be prepared for an important/unlucky proc element.
Yeah, it's not like you're going to be put in a buffed party on botulus rex while on ninja anyways.
