Never mind, I've been up too long, haha.

How does Fell cleave work with double attack? Do all mobs get hit with double attack damage when it procs on the mob you target or does it have a chance of proccing on each individual mob?
Formula on wiki for >300 skill is
Resistance = 25 + floor( Enhancing Magic Skill ÷ 4 )
So 4 skill = +1 resistance with a max +150 at 500 skill. With merits and AF2+2 pants you can boost that up to +185.

A good barspell set is ridiculously powerful. Casting with Beneficus, 5 barspell merits, AF2+2 pants, and 4/5 Orison+2 gives you 182~183 (can't quite hit 500 enhancing skill with 4/5 Orison+2) resistance, 25 MDB, and at least a 5% annul rate for that element (idk if anyone ever tested the annul rate breakdown for the different amounts of pieces).
Edit: Does Afflatus Solace have a base MDB rate?
Am I right in understanding that Dual Wield doesn't have specific cap to it, just the overall cap of not being able to reduce delay below 20%?
Yes (if there is a cap we haven't reached it and I'm not sure why anyone would want to).
Been a long time since I did The Hills Are Alive (adamantoise KSNM) but is it duo-able by apoc DRK and BRD mule or would I most likely run out of time? If this setup won't work what is the minimum "safe" number of members/setup required? Thanks in advance.
prob not. duoable with SCH+MNK in 25 MIN but drk hasnt the dot of a MNK. MNK's dot with embrava is enough to keep HP constant. You wont have problems with DD DD WHM. Just WS ever 30s ish when it exits shell for 3 seconds
If you want to do it quickly and do multiples, brd healer dd dd would be your best bet. Was killing them within 3mins like that.
a blm setup still works well for hills are alive, too mnk+whm + 3 blm can knock him to 50% on first shell, heal mp, and knock him out on the next one. Can prob manage to do it, just not as fast, with just 1 blm and a dd+whm or maaaaaaaybe just a dd/dnc
somebody should actually test this probably, as I'm almost certain I've seen shit like 5-700 on main target and 1500+ on other shit on the same use
How high will besieged mobs/npc skill me?
Had odin 1 break in similar fashion a couple months ago, just stopped using all TP moves and scripted attacks for most of the fight, not sure from what %, but it was at least 50-0%. Only had 2 or 3 bst pets on him for damage thou, so I'm not sure it was caused by high dps lol.
Doesn't know better idk
Pretty sure it has been tested. Either way your example is explainable. If you missed the main hit on the main target but landed a double your ftp for the ws on the main target would be 1.0 while others would be 2.75 or higher.
What else would you use for Fell Cleave? Phorcys mitts give you +11 str (set bonus) +15atk +2DA, Ares' Flanchard +1 give you +8STR +2TA. You could argue for Heafoc Mitts for hands, but I'll take the +1 inventory, 15 atk 4 acc(~6 if you count the dex) +2 DA over 2 STR. As far as legs go, you could make an argument for Avant +1, Ares' +1 and War. Cuisses +2 being as shit is situational and they all give 8 STR. Personally, I like the chance of that TA procing.
I'm more curious where DA/TA doesn't apply to Fell Cleave is coming from? Anyone who has used the WS has experienced where target mob takes lower dmg than the rest of the mobs and normal TP is returned, meaning that 2nd hit was missed on the target mob but not the mobs that were being AoE'd (since only get TP return based on target mob). If there is evidence of this not being the case, would be very interested in source as Fell Cleave damage just varies wildly and disregards math entirely.
So I saw they nerfed choco blinkers while I was gone, any quick way to make gil besides doing dynamis?
salvage
On the topic of salvage: what's the face rollingest easy Salv2 zone? And which is the 'best' for Alexandrite farming? I know SSR1 used to be king of the castle, but now with random nothin but gear floors and 100% linens in II idk how to math
