<var name="Weapon">off</var>
<if spell="trigger0">
<if advanced='"$Weapon"!="off"'>
<var cmd="set Weapon off" />
</if>
<else>
<var cmd="set Weapon on" />
</else>
</if>
Then alias to do trigger0

I have "weapon" and "weapoff" aliased to enable and disable spellcast changing weapon slots respectively. While this works, it would be nice if just "weapontoggle" or "weaptog" would alternate the option on or off. I tried aliasing within an alias but it didn't seem to work.
How I was trying it was with three aliases:
alias A
alias B
alias C
Alias C is the one to be called normally. It calls A, which does "alias C B". Calling alias C again then runs alias B which ends with "alias C A". Am I crazy or just trying to do something too complicated?
You can do this with n+1 aliases, for n states.
alias doThing doThingA;
alias doThingA <normal commands to do something>; alias doThing doThingB;
alias doThingB <normal commands to do something>; alias doThing doThingC;
alias doThingC <normal commands to do something>; alias doThing doThingA;
The first time you pressed a button to doThing, it'd do A. Next time, B, and finally 3rd time C.
Only real restriction is you can't redefine an alias inside the <normal commands> part, as say...
alias doThingA alias asdf hjkl; alias doThing doThingB;
would not create 2 aliases, but instead just 1 -
asdf = hjkl; alias doThing doThingB; - and this one would then move on the first time you did asdf.
For example, my brd skillup macro:
Code:
alias thren t1
alias t1 firethrenody; alias thren t2;
alias t2 icethrenody; alias thren t3;
alias t3 windthrenody; alias thren t4;
alias t4 earththrenody; alias thren t5;
alias t5 ltng.threnody; alias thren t6;
alias t6 waterthrenody; alias thren t1;
Every time I do "thren", it casts a different threnody
