What's the strat for 3 manning him, he gave my group of 6 a little trouble. Do you spam the palips? I did it with a pickup group but with a pickup group of fairly well geared players but I suppose if you're 3 manning you really would need Ragna/Annhilator and a hybrid PDT set.

prob not SAM since umargh eats half your TP on every melee attack.

SAM works well since you front back tank him, SAM can almost always break the shield.

My duo partner and i are thinking about starting another relic for her and she wants to do Excalibur but i'm a bit hesitant. She has a 85 Almace atm that we could get to 90 but i'm not sure what is really the better sword, 90 Almace or 95 Excalibur. She has 95 Aegis already and the other jobs she mostly plays are whm, blm, dnc so none of the other relics stand out as worth doing. Does Excalibur worth having really or does Almace out damage it. Any thoughts?

99 Almace, 99 Excal, 95 Almace, 90 Almace, 95 Excal, 85 Almace

Obviously situational but that should be a general order.

Requiescat with 99 Excal makes it better then 95 Almace.

KoR at 99 isn't that bad either (1 hit WS takes full advantage of Phorcys body and Ogier legs) if you can't overcome the attack penalty of Requiescar.


Spread sheet also doesn't take into consideration the Excal hidden effect.

I find that in general excals additional effect does about as much dmg as if I was keeping enlight up but without the acc buff. So it mostly saves you casting time. But yeah I had to stop using excal when I had to demerit scat

Without Requiescat it falls behind 95 Almace but still ahead of 90. The hidden effect is 10% proc rate and doesn't get resisted as much as enlight. The ACC bonus of Enlight is really nice however.

If your Excal is going to be stuck at 95 I'd definitely just recommend doing Almace. I'm just going to 99 both and AFK like a king.

The other night the mog tablets were up for discovery, so I went to a zone and looked and looked being careful to go slowly to not miss the ???. Couldn't find them, then guess what 5mins later someone else find it in the same zone I've been searching in for 45mins-1hr ><. This is one of those things that keeps evading me and I want to find just one of these damn things, any tricks or tips as to go about getting one of these darn things!?!

Use the list of where they appear and very slowly look for them. In all reality 1 hour isn't long enough to search a whole zone for them without knowing where they are since you have to be rather close to see them

They're right for WAR in most situations. 99 Ukon WAR vs. 99 Ragnarok DRK is more difficult, but it's true that 99 Ragnarok DRK > 90 Ukon WAR and that 99 Ukon WAR > 95 Ragnarok DRK. I'd upgrade Ragnarok and start going DRK to everything if I was you. It's a hell of a lot cheaper.

99Ukon > 99Rag unless you have MS up or the mob has a -crit rate trait (Morta,Legion Mul etc)


99 Rag DRK is definitely a top DD, esp if the mob/healers allow the use of Souleater.

Patentia sash is better without marches IIRC. Tenryu tekko+1 as well, but I'm assuming that's a bit out of reach.

Can't speak to the Account Management system (although I don't think you can unsub from it. She may have deleted the POL account from the SE account though, dunno if it can be added back), but unless she actually deleted the character from inside the game, it should still be around.

Well, it appears that she clicked the "cancel square enix account" option when it was in japanese. The square enix account management website says:

Please be aware that when SQUARE ENIX account is cancelled, all services linked to the SQUARE ENIX account will also be cancelled. SQUARE ENIX account and all linked services will not be restorable.

Please also be aware that if PlayOnline ID is linked to the SQUARE ENIX account, you will not be able to log into PlayOnline or restore the PlayOnline service if SQUARE ENIX account is cancelled."

Guess it looks like her character and everything really was deleted. Isn't getting anywhere with support either; said that the support staff said they couldn't help her because her account is apparently japanese (when she had never set it to be, oddly, and has always had an NA account), and immediately disconnected the chat with her. Aha, grade A service with a smile.
