Because I capped (at least for the jobs that I have now) all magical skills, while I still have quite a few melee ones to cap, so having the earring to add to my Prouesse would be awesome.

Now that I think about it, do they even work with defensive skills? Like guarding, parrying, shield, evasion etc?

I'm actually having a lot of trouble logging in too, and I was logging in just fine yesterday and a few days before. My internet browser and pretty much everything else is running just fine (CNET's spitting ~10mbps for me). I just get stuck on POL load bars/blank screens a whole lot the few times I manage to actually log in.

I was thinking it might be a port issue or something, but that would be weird given that I was able to play just fine yesterday.

Not just nid pops, but you can get more gil return burning seals on Wyrm (Speed Belt 6m, guaranteed 1.5m honey wine) instead of Turtle (Striders 1m, guaranteed 1m Blue Pondweed)

Quite easily, yes, though I'd be more inclined to take a BLU over BLM. Physical spells still work while its flying, and like with a lot of older content, Sudden Lunge just dominates it. As it won't take off until stun wears, it can give you a good bit more time to get HP down with melee damage. Not critical though.

A friend and I decided to duo it as nin + sch and it's worked out extremely well, wyrm has trouble even bringing nin to yellow due to regen 5 and barfire and with embrava added to the mix it's pretty lol.

The fight is really fast if you have a BLU, but yeah it's extremely easy as long as you have some kind of magic/ranged damage.

Won a rank 4 on a mule. Not sure what to get for my main character. I've been gone for almost two years (level cap was 90 back then). Are sea torques still relevant? Thinking about picking a Love Torque on my mule and DB'ing. Should I pick something else?

Hope Torque would let you get Blade: Ei for Abyssea procs /NIN (with merits and the katana skill headband). The Ark Scythe will let you do Shadow of Death /WAR. I have no idea what you'd use a Love Torque for.

Snow, Aqua, and Light gorgets only for Fudo afik. Although BG wiki claims all 4 light elements for gorgets/belts on the page for Light SC. So I guess it might work. Probably safer to just stick with snow/aqua if you have those. That's what I do.

I have an account that doesn't have any Abyssea; If I buy the Ultimate Seekers that has everything edition (say, from Amazon or some other online service), will I have to wait until SoA comes out to use Abyssea?

Yeah. I bought that edition and we can't even download it until midnight release.

Just to clarify; Does the Ultimate Seekers edition have just one code that unlocks everything, or it has a code for every expansion, add-on, etc.?

I'm just hoping for the latter, then I could buy it, get the codes and enter them all, do abyssea now, and have the xpac ready for d/l when the day comes.

So I got an Adamantoise Egg on my main for from Bonanza and I was wondering where Black Belt fits in for today's MNK. Is it still a must or has it been supplanted with the introduction of Usu +1?
