I generally do do Outer H-whatever Ruins, all the way in the back on single-bats and slimes. Totally safe to plant a mule at, chance of getting a Fishing Torque. Obviously not a single mob type, but I don't know many that are besides leeches in BO.

Is there some rhyme or reason to relic weapon drops in Dynamis? I'm talking the straight up DMG:1 Delay:999 shit. Just spent a Bastok run getting nothing but axes (~8) and a single great katana. Just bad luck or is there some determining factor I'm ignorant of?

Just bad luck. I feel like the weapons are rarer since the Dynamis changes, but that's just personal observation. Had to do two Windurst runs before I got the Relic Sword.

I had to do three bastok runs before I got my relic blade then I got three of them in the about 6 minutes.

I'd assume the Grauberg one since it doesn't do the throat stab move, but not sure about soloing. It still has en-amnesia so might be risky to melee it, but I'm guessing pld or dnc would be best? shadows dont do much so I would think dnc is more useful then nin but it probably depends on your kill speed. I did most of mine on MNK/THF with WHM/BLM mule for what its worth. Hopefully someone can chime in with a solo perspective

I'm looking to try and gear up my fresh Summoner with soloing and general utility in mind, however I want to avoid a lot of gear as 4 other jobs worth of gear is taking up a lot of space, so I want to try and have as close to 16 pieces of armor for my smn as possible. It doesnt need to be uber pimp, just some really good gear to sick my avatar on stuff in and get by without being called gimp.

Any recommendations?

Soloing iron giants on dnc isnt that rough, its the gear stripping move thats rough, resets TP.

Just need capped eva and the amnesia attack wont be that much of a pain. Though I must say going from solo dnc to dnc+whm makes giants infinitly easier to deal with. Id really recommend finding a whm to team up with.

Only decent option is the grauberg one but it will take fucking ages as pld or dnc (pld is way better if you have ochain) and you can likely buy the plates for less than 300k per. Either that or find someone to help you and do WAR+WHM on the ulegrand range one, it dies fast and pops are cheap because people still seem to think its remotely challenging.

af3+2 head, body, feet, nyzul legs, refresh hands/feet, and 8 magian staffs. Edit: and maybe evoker's ring, arka IV and heka's kalarsis.

None. Done 4-5 windy runs and no dagger. Every other weapon over those runs but not that.

Do Phorcys legs have any use at all for WAR? AF3+2 beats it in any situation I can imagine.

There are some limited TP sets, for a rag war were you would use them. They are also a decent upheaval piece if you are WS in phorcys hands as well.

AF3+2 is fine really, get a AF2+2 horn, chatoyant staff.

Yes except you have a 10min timelimit without at least 6 people. - ie, whm bst bst should be more than enough, but bring 3 warm bodies to give you time

So what's the "All Effects During Battle" option for in the Effects menu? Doesn't seem to do anything here, unless you need to zone for it to kick in? I was assuming it'd be a catch-all for all the filtering options below it, unless the damn thing is broken on PS2.
