Yeah, I server transferred one out that way, but supposedly you can get them to move your characters around even more as long as you contact them within a week of your transfer. I'm wondering how to do the second transfer.

Default with no all jobs weapons THF/WAR gets Dagger x2, Sword x2, Club x1, Staff x1

If you put one merit in staff and have the +5 staff skill head from abyssea or you have the hope torque (I think that is the one with staff skill) you get the second Staff one.

Ark Scythe does give you Shadow of Death

For thf/nin you can get the following red procs as well if you have someone going war or /war already
Shinai and some +skill gear/merits can get you Tachi: Jinpu I believe, that one seems tough to get.

There is also an all jobs katana, but I don't have it and I don't know if you can get enough skill for Blade: Ei, would need katana merits probably for sure to get close to 175 skill.

You also get Raiden Thrust with a pitchfork(+1) as /WAR

What's a good level to solo tank Campaign mobs comfortably again? Lookin to level my Rune Fencer in campaign since I need the Allied Notes for Voidstones anyway. Havent done this shit in ages.

Does anyone remember what the sound effect dat file is for the tab/target noise? I used to rename so it wouldn't get used fuck I hate that chime. I have forgotten which dat it is though.

To get Blade: Ei you need 8 Katana merits, Hope torque, and the Katana skill head.

I still wouldn't bother. With only one merit, it's only going to last thirty seconds. Personally sticking with 5/5 Slow II 4/5 Dia III 1/5 Paralyze II.

Can you use an xbox360 product key for a PC version of the game?

Gamesplanet let me download the game but wouldn't give me a key for some bullshit reason. SE store is giving me some error (5003) and not letting me buy, fiure I could go into town and buy the xbox version and use the key for my already installed files. That'll work right?

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, however, I understand FFXI is a PvE game, but I want to join a server where Ballista and the other PvP modes are active. From research it appears a year ago Carbunkle was the place to be for Ballista specifically. That was a year ago though and I want to see if Carbunkle still is today?

Another cool reason to be on Carbunkle is my cousin played FFXI for about 7 or 8 years consistently on Gilgamesh and I hear they're merged now. He doesn't play anymore but it'd still be cool to be there, also incase he ever returns.

I've heard of it happening but never seen it firsthand. i've been in plenty and know my friends have been in dozens. I've had the rmt banned in a pt i was in but they left me alone. So if they do it's really, really rare.

A friend who quit last year, deleting all his macros in the process, wants to get back into the game now.
Are there any ready made macro sets anywhere? He just wants the layouts to get himself started, he'll edit from there and get back into his own arrangement.

What he wants are not necessarily downloadable files (though if there are any, that would be a plus), just ready set layouts that he can replicate.

There's a quest to redo em from Darcia, but it just seems to give xp/gil. I only ever redid the Ranguemont Pass fount, but there was no option in Ru'Lude or the Adoulin waypoints.
