    Looking for DVD/BluRay ripper

Like the title says, I'm looking to find a good DVD/BluRay ripper. I'm currently using DVD Shrink to rip the discs and Handbrake to convert them, but I was hoping there was a free program out there that would cut down on the steps needed. The software sticky mentioned DVDFab, but the free version doesn't look like it will do that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

DVD Flick is open-source and seems to work pretty damn well for me. I'm not sure if you're looking for more flexibility or not...

You're probably right, and I may be missing something but when I try and rip it right from the disc I get a "This disc is copyright protected" error. I just tried to use it recently (last couple of days) and haven't been able to really delve into it yet.

    Yes, you need a decrypter.
AnyDVD is one of them, and sits in the background automatically bypassing the protectiong. Not free, just torrent it.
When thats running, you can use Handbrade to both rip and convert.

Why no reply? BTW is AnyDVD free? I found it here: slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html I wonder if there would be a logo on the output video... I have tried some DVD ripper yesterday, but all of them work with a disgusting watermark (unless i paid for the register number), like this one: dvdconvertersoft.com/dvd-ripper.html I have waste a whole day and there is no help, no reply, no hope here... I quit!!

Patience is a virtue, and no, AnyDVD is not free unless you pirate it (as stated earlier in the thread, you must have missed it in your desperation).

AnyDVD + DVD Shrink will do everything you need them to do. I don't know if it's illegal in the UK or not. I would expect so.
