My two male friends with long hair use tresemme, I think it gives nice results. I do love the feeling of the burts bees conditioner, its super conditioning I can't use that at the moment or my hair color washes out though...

They all use the same active chemicals for helping your hair out. It doesn't matter which one you use outside of smell I suppose.

Get Paul Mitchell Tea Tree. I prefer the lavender, but they also make a lemon. They say the lemon is better for morning shower people to wake you up, and the lavender is relaxing if you shower at night - however I still preferred the lavender for mornings.

Don't over condition the top part of your head, do the ends only for the most part or your hair may look greasy after about 8hours.

Seconding this conditioner/shampoo. Recommended to get rid of flakes as a bonus as well. Minty too!

Yeah it's pretty amazing if you can pony up for it. The bigger bottles from amazon last forever. I would never use pantene or head&shoulders, some of those products are really terrible for your hair and scalp health.

I'm a chick, and I second TreSemme - it doesn't coat your hair like Pantene etc. does. It actually cleans it with no residue. Plus it's cheap. Also obligatory "gay!".
