Yeah I used this site for a guildwars 2 key, But they have a seperate redemption process. I believe its a steam key otherwise. They make you do paypal to pay though.

Right, which is why I don't feel guilty about buying a code through him. Nvidia (presumably) paid CD Projekt a decent amount for all those CD keys. So they were compensated. Sure it's one "less" real sale from me, and the hundreds of others buying it or video cards, but I doubt the devs just outright give the games away.

I tried to find something on google how that works, but couldn't find anything specific.

So it seems I got the free version from the GPU after all. I already bought this game so I will probably be selling a GOG (most likely) version of it somewhere in the 40s range when it comes out
