which is weird and dumb because A) backlash/negative PR, and B) from leaked copies being streamed the xbone version looks just fine, so why do this?

Btw, nividia is doing a deal right now if you buy gtx970 it comes with witcher 3 and arkham knight.
PC version of Witcher 3 getting passed off as console version has been happening quite a bit lately. I also believe there was a television ad specifically for the PS4 version that was using footage from the PC version.
If that PS4 video above is actual footage, then I think I will be ok. Sadly I can't afford to build an ultimate rig right now, but a PS4 is a much more viable route, considering the games that are coming out too.
I'm sure the game will look fine on consoles. The main concern is likely 30 fps cap, but that's not really that big of a concern for a game of this style.
WTF... 30 possible endings? That's like Chrono Trigger level.
There's supposed to be 3 "main" endings, which have a total of 36 primary variations, and those 36 variations branch out further into a total of over 300 various endings based on decisions through the series.
I wish someone would make another time travel RPG that good. Back to topic, I remember when the Witcher 2 came out, I was all hyped up about it and told my good friend about it, he was interested once he saw me playing, ended up buying it. I didn't hear from him for 3 days straight, and at the time we were still playing Aion and constantly playing, so it was strange for him to be gone and I see him at the store and he told me he loved the game so much he couldn't stop playing, literally, dude did not fucking sleep the entire time and told me he spent this last day in recovery sleeping. It really inspired me to finish the game, I was getting my ass kicked the whole time he was plowing through it, the combat around launch was much more difficult and technical, but once I got use to the game flow, I destroyed the game 3 days later myself.
I got all the possible endings, loved the non human path as well. TL;DR I fucking love the Witcher series and I am hyped up all over again for 3.
apparently on Xbone it will dynamically scale between 1080/900 depending on power requirements at any given time

Saw Xbox One and 1080p in same line and lol'd
I feel very skeptical about this "dynamic scaling". Never heard of anything that could change resolution in real time without some sort of black screen to refresh the output.
I am calling shenanigans. Maybe certain zones will be in 1080p after a loading screen. Not buying this happening in real time.Cant see it happening in the video.
Maybe the title screen is in 1080p.
It's very possible. There's been a mod for Skyrim for years that dynamically changes resolution during rapid camera movement to provide performance boosts.
Almost every review I'm reading all says the same thing: The PS4 build they were given to review has framerate issues and it can be a pretty annoying deal.
Welll if the USPS ever decides to deliver my fucking 970 ill have the witcher for free so im hyped.
Still working on it.
The place I got my card from last week sends the key in 14-19 from getting the order, so I will get it around at the latest 19th. Felt annoyed at first, but I'm actually on holiday until 21st so I guess it's not that bad
Want to play naaaao though.
Doesn't the game come out the 19th so how would you play before then?
