Haven't had an crashes but haven't gotten too far. Played for roughly 3 hours though.
Been playing on 3/4 difficulty and got destroyed by level 3 drowners. Having to do a lot of dodging/rolls and parry to survive. Quick attacks then dart back out in a lot of fights. It's challenging but fun. Easiest fight was a level 6 bear I took on at level one. Combat takes a little while to get used to but it's starting to get rewarding
Having inventory issues already. What shit should I keep and what to sell/toss?
Any way to increase inventory size or a storage chest?
Saddle Bags will increase carry capacity, but I believe that's the only option.
I had couple of crashes yesterday but ever since it's been good
Does every Gwent player only give 1 card?
It seems that way, the game also implied you can get them as quest rewards though I haven't seen it yet.
Okay. So far the only person I couldn't beat is the blacksmith chick in Bloody Baron's castle place.
Anyone know if theres any more to Lena's quest? I made the Swallow for her. Came back later and the herb chick said she was recovering but then was taken away by the Nilfgaardians.
The scale of the zones in this game is amazing. So huge. Towns and settlements are natural and fluid rather than random sectioned off areas. Only in the first area after the opening place and I feel like I'm gonna to spend hours and hours here.
Ultra @ 4k with a few settings turned down (wtf hair). OC'd Titan X and I haven't had a single crash or problem with the game. It actually runs surprisingly smooth for how good the game looks. Just finished up the quests in the starting area and can't wait to see the scale of the later zones.
so no one else has had voice issues? it seems like i can only hear characters when the camera is facing them, otherwise it is faded out.
Man gear durability is a bitch. I came out of that 1st dungeon with everything broken and while trying to get to fast travel post got chased by a griffin
I killed the griffin and I suddenly have a beard that I swear wasn't there just before I killed it
Playing on 3/4 myself, enjoying the experience. Considering a crank up to 4/4 but will see how things go. Also want to mention I didn't get a single crash playing through and 100%ing White Orchard, doesn't seem like every single person is afflicted by whatever the issue is.
Saw the second map, got gobsmacked, overwhelmed by the amount of things and the sheer scale of it, and turned off the game for the night. Need a fresh mind to tackle that lol. I can see what people meant by "single zones come close to being bigger than the entire map of Skyrim"
Played for a few hours tonight, don't see the big deal. Single 780 and 3570k, ultra everything except shadows (high) and hairworks (off). 60-80FPS, no crashes. Was pretty surprised cos I saw some shit about Titan's getting 30 at 1080p, and I play 1200p.
Yeah I see some high 30's with hairworks on and staring at the back of my head, but that's an easy fucking call. Turn it off, still looks great.
I have one of the aforementioned Titans :/ I never had to scale down so much stuff in a game before. I was planning to wait for Pascal to get a new GPU, but might have to suck it up and dish out for a Titan X or SLIed 980 Ti when the day comes.
Yeah I'm not buying a single 780 at post-1080p res being able to maintain a steady 60fps with everything cranked to max besides hair. Honestly it feels like nVidia is intentionally dwarfing kepler cards to make the Maxwells sell a bit more .-.

Look at dem benchmarks. Firsthand, as I mentioned earlier, I am incapable of reaching or steadily staying at 60fps with dual 780s and a heavily OC'd 4770k (1440p res mind, but even still, I've downscaled to 1080p, which looks fucking awful btw, and it barely changes anything, but hardware downscaling isnt the most efficient thing in the world to begin with) unless I dial down a lot of the settings to the point where 30fps lock is almost an attractive option just so I can enjoy the game looking nicer... but this is PC, I don't want to resort to that. Hoping it's just something that nVidia overlooked.
Another set of benchmarks here as well

Lol what do you want me to tell ya guy? I spent like over an hour in the tutorial area just messing with shit seeing what effects what. Everything is on, hairworks off, shadows high instead of ultra. That's what I get.
