Controller wins for sure imo

For those of you that don't know and are using mouse + keyboard, apparently an alternative to dodging with alt is to just double tap the direction you want to move (according to Reddit, at work and have not tested). That seems way more natural/easy than using alt like the tutorial told you.
Also I played all last night in fullscreen and didn't experience a single crash.
edit: You can also supposedly turn off run mode so that when you move you don't start running for no fucking reason. Those are probably my top two complaints about the controls so far so looking forward to getting home and trying it out.
Can't run the game. My GPU is too shit. Looks like it's on the "to be played" list for a bit.
I actually discovered the double tap and have been using that. Its way easier than alt.
Idk if it is because I am ctrl alt del to window out that is causing the voices to not work, but yeah. I have no voices again when I logged in.
Restarted game and the loading screen took forever, then once I got into game it crashed and I got error message " Display driver 352.82 stopped responding." Past few drivers have been pretty bad from Nvidia.
I fucked around for awhile because I had nothing better to do, and rolling back to 347.88 drivers combined with turning down a couple settings so the game is constantly at 99% GPU usage has seemed to stop everything but the inventory screen freezes.
That can be prevented by uncapping the frame rate apparently, but that brings back the 99% usage. So, shit.
Also wow, the botchling is some amazingly fucked up shit. GG whoever the fuck thought that one up.
Been fine today in regards of crashes played about 4 hours without any issues, do have another couple of nits to pick though such as the need to have either more potions/bombs and/or at least another slot since having to go into the inventory mid fight to change them over is kind of annoying but still enjoying it.
Also this really does need to be a thing:

One thing that I have been wondering about. GOG Galaxy is supposed to be nonDRM. Yet when I click on the witcher 3 shortcut it pops up, and I have to launch the game through Galaxy. I also cant even find the witcher3.exe to link a profile for synapse.
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64
You don't need to run GOG, just run the .exe
Supposedly huge patch on the horizon for the PC version - http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...-issue-head-on
They're also going to include more support for editing of ini files to push the graphics even further if so desired, but that will not be part of aforementioned big patch. Before I get into the nitty-gritty, know that a big patch with 600 changes - including improvements to graphics and graphical settings - was sent to certification today (Wednesday 20th May), and will take between five and seven days to clear. There will be patch notes covering it all.
Good.
I ran into some more bugs. Saw some drowners and wanted to fight em. While attacking my game randomly windowed out then back in, and i couldnt do anything but move. Had to save and reload to be able to attack and what not. Did it again but without the lock on abilities.
I have faith their patch will be good. I have 3 days off next week to play. I am more concerned with Nvidia's lazy ass PoS drivers. Hopefully they will have some new drivers soon. The 352.82 keeps randomly stop working and black screening my pc.
i've had a few bugs. The crashes that others mentioned, but yeah, uncapping frame rate did it. Then I got caught in an infinite loading screen.
I have nothing but faith in CD Projekt. They addressed most of if not all issues within a week of Witcher 2 coming out. Then continued to support it, bug crush and add content for a couple years, including a massive update to the PC when the console version came out. They probably could have charged for that, but they didn't. Bros of the gaming industry. When Cyberpunk comes out, I hope it's amazing.
Reading that article, I get every single decision they made. Without the consoles this game wouldn't have been out, period or dumbed down quite a bit. If that means a few graphical "sacrifices" whatever. We will continue to get PC support as time goes on, and PS4/XBone will be stuck with what they have. It sounds like they're working on it around the clock. With such a massive game and everyone having a different rig, it's pretty impossible to account for all bugs.
Need a sound patch, I feel like my audio is just way too damn low on the PC.
Fwiw, much like Witcher 2 before it the game generally doesn't respond to volume controls while it's in the foreground. You'd need to alt tab out or have it at the proper level before launching the game.
Redengine is kind of screwy and alot of stuff doesn't work with it properly, like being able to toggle sweetfx and most Windows hotkeys
Just got game; I almost died racing Cirri down to the practice grounds. I am very bad at this game right now.
Horse racing gives saddlebag with 30 inventory. But I already had one that gave +70. Easy to get to, it's south of Crow's Perch. Merchant in Oreton.
Level 4, find diagrams for level 27 armor >.>
I set my FPS limit bar (NOT v-sync) to unlimited and my freezes/crashes stopped completely.
