You just have to have something else to alt-tab to man. Open your browser and you can switch back and forth. You only can't alt-tab full screen if the game is the only thing open. Always been that way and thats not what theyre fixing.

I cant exit the games interface unless I ctrl alt delete. I have to play in fullscreen or I will get crashes, unless they fixed that. It doesnt work in borderless or fullscreen. I am also on dual monitor.

I'm 60 hours in and still amazed at it too. Sometimes I just ride the horse through the woods and see deer run past me or on the boat in Skellige and I constantly run into a wow moment.

Not only is the game beautiful but the feels this game invokes. Great story, great characters, great atmosphere. CDPR did a phenomenal job.

I really love how much detail and plot and voice acting has been put into even all of the tiny little sidequests. Never feels like just another fetch quest because theres a little something to everything.

I believe the non-fullscreen crashes were a result of the nVidia drivers? I get them with anything after 347.52/88 so I stuck with those.

If you have something else open to alt-tab to and still can't switch then idk. I have dual monitors as well, but I use borderless windowed for this game cos I hate when games black out the second monitor while in full screen. Alt-tab doesnt work for me unless I have something else open to switch to, but once I do no issues swapping in/out.

For me the crashes seem to be related to the nvidia update service and geforce experience. I stop all those services and close geforce experience, no crashes with latest drivers.

Hell I haven't even got that far yet. In the tiny amount of spare time I have I've made it to level 3 and only explored the first couple areas.

For those that can run this on max settings, its hard to not just stop and take in the scenery. I find myself killing a few things, sheathing the weapons and just walking around like sweet fuck this is awesome. Lighting effects, foliage, the small details like clothing and expressions. This has got to be the most beautiful game my GPU has ever labored through.

Finally (sadly...) finished it... I would have enjoyed the ending being a little longer and detailed about things big and small, but I'm a sucker for that stuff. Incredible game. If they add NG+, will probably do it over again.
Everything in my gaming backlog just seems insignificant and a waste of time now.

For games out so far I'd say it's the clear winner, but still lots of titles pending before the year is out. Especially if Fallout 4 is actually making it out this year.

Despite the opinions of some of the fighting game fans here, I think MKX is the only serious competition for it atm.

For me subjectively, it'll probably depend on whether or not Fallout 4 makes it (and is playable) this year.
