That's a pretty great patch
That's some serious qol stuff, wish they'd put that in at the go, but great for people starting it now. Really hope they add NG+
Thats great stuff. Will be nice for my replay that I will probably start once all 16 free DLCs are out.

Can somebody stahp them, they'll break the industry.
"The expansion packs will be whole new storylines with all the elements you've got in the main story (like cutscenes, new characters, new items, new Gwent cards) and many, many more. They will be quite long.
The first expansion will be around 10 hours and the second expansion will be around 20 hours... and I think it's possible that they will be bigger, because it's always like this (that when we plan some time or hours, it's twice or something like this), but I'm not promising anything right now.
And even now, if you sum up this 10 to 20 hours and you compare it to The Witcher 2, it's almost the size of The Witcher 2. And it will be cool, it will be new stories, it will be very emotional stories and I think that people will be happy."
Based CD Projekt Red.
get both of them for $25 too, so if it's as big as they say you're paying $25 for like triple the content of a standard $60 release these days
Picked this up for $20 today. Start now or wait for all the free DLC?
It's a hard choice, I started playing but then decided to wait because they're releasing so many patches and stuff and I don't have time to play this twice lol
Start now. If you do a bunch of sidequests you won't be finishing anytime soon.
If you are not too worried about playing it yet, I'd say wait until patch 1.07 drops(which should be soon, no official date but people are saying next tuesday). It adds the much needed storage box and a bunch of nice improvements. I had to stop exploring "?" locations because i'd be able to loot one spot and then be maxed weight(this is with max saddle) and i'd have to find a store to dismantle or sell the loot lol I am at the end though and still have not explored skellige isles at all. Once you start though, you will keep on playing, wanting to explore the next area, at least it was like that for me.
Start now. Most of the free dlc is out. The next patch will help with inventory but it's not like the game is broken or something.
Patch is out on all platforms.
PC version also includes a bunch of new graphics options for Hairworks instead of just the general toggle.
Love the alternative movement style. No more Gerald tank adventures.
Edit: People reported a 20fps lock bug on consoles and I get it on PC too, but only if I play in borderless window mode. Even in menus, where I usually get around 140-150fps, it caps to 20ish. It's nott that much of a problem since fullscreen alt-tabbing works pretty well.
So I haven't been able to play in like 2 weeks, I get on today and don't have any weapons I can equip at level 27... did they change the levels to the witcher gear, I could have sworn I was using superior Ursine swords....
They did change the levels on Witcher gear, they're now the same levels as the quest to get them.
Kinda lame, I already had it all. Now I have to craft something to hold me over till I level some.
It would be nice if I didn't have to redo the graphic settings after every patch. Frickin hairworks pops on after every update and I think my shits about to explode lol.
New finisher animations is this week's free dlc.
One more to go. What could it be?
We plan to end on a high note. =)
