Sounds like alot of mods are going to take awhile to update because CDPR removed all comments from the various script files, which seems... dumb.

well luckily im using the GOG version, optional patching ahoy!
Steam has optional patching too. Set the game to not auto-update and you can play old patches forever (for single player stuff obviously).
The game will be forced to update when you launch it unless you set Steam to offline mode.
I'm not actively playing right now (enjoy Dark Arisen) and every script related mod I use had an update from the author to expect compatibility with 1.12 soon, so I just let Steam do it's thing.
Covers a bunch of numbers about development, the absolutely insane one to me is that the script was 820,000 words.
Armor Dyes, a tournament, AND a new Gwent deck? effin a cotton
I still havent beaten this game. I put it down so long ago.
I just came back to it after a long break (6+ months). It's far easier to jump back into than I thought it was going to be. Something about the later part of the game and now just clicked and I fell in love with everything way more. I really enjoyed it, at first, but whatever came up. I think I was in the mood for this type of game now than before, too.
this game was fantastic. i enjoyed it a lot. i havent touched the dlc though. ive been playing other games and just havent got to it. i feel like im really missing out
I think part of why I stopped playing is because my 970(i think that is what I had then) couldnt really fuck with the game at 1440p. Have 980 ti, dont think I tried it since. I'll pick it back up with 1080. Hopefully that can max it out at 1440p an hold 90 ish fps.
What I am looking forward to most? Gwent.
May 31st
http://buy.thewitcher.com/en_en/w3CD Projekt RED, creators of The Witcher series of games, announce that the final expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Blood and Wine, will premiere on May 31st (yeah, some of you were close). Pre-orders are available now at buy.thewitcher.com!
“Blood and Wine makes The Witcher 3 complete - it’s Geralt’s final mission. Containing more than 90 new quests, and over thirty hours of brand new adventures, it’s something that I think gamers will remember for a long time,” said Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director, CD Projekt RED. “There’s also a massive amount of features we’re giving gamers with this expansion like a dynamic Point of Interest system, a new Gwent deck, new endgame mutation mechanics, and even a place Geralt can call home.... And it’s all happening in a new region as big as No Man’s Land in the base game,” Tomaszkiewicz adds.
The limited box edition of Blood and Wine contains physical versions of the Northern Realms and Nilfgaard Gwent decks.
I hope they let people who have the digital copy buy those Gwent decks again.
GET HYPE
mfw more people arguing about the music in comments and shit than discussing how bad ass that trailer was.
WUUUH IT ISNT DUBSTEP WAAAAAAAAAAH WAAAAAH
I really like the music even if it doesn't feel like it fits the setting at first. Works well imo.
Your first mistake was reading youtube comments.
People are surprised a bunch of Polish dudes like metal?
1.20 patch is going live today. Bunch of usual bug fixes plus CDPR took a few ideas from some of the more popular mods (enemies scaling with level and sword auto sheathe/unsheathe)
Oh and a book that tracks your Gwent cards and tells you where to find any you might be missing.
Edit : ooo the UI changes are very nice, and so many qol improvements.
